We're 46pts behind place nr. 32 in the rank so we can really make it, would be wonderful.

I'm glad with game against Canada, finally a trully good tactical performance in this season, previous matches were a bit disappointing.

We're playing Island in this round.

Bosna i Hercegovina vs Hellas
Australia vs Island

Scotland vs Russiya
Bulgaria vs New Zealand

If we progress to the next round, then we'll have to fight against BiH or Hellas.

Good draw :).

We also avoid Bulgaria until the final if we make it that far. Win-win situation.

I'd change Hellas with New Zealand though ;).

Yeah, I don't see much chance to get into the final, but who knows - with a good tactic and some luck Hellas might be beatable...good luck to you too :).

Nice to see almost every top midfielder in form, always a nice sight. The strikers are somewhat weaker in form, though with no tragics; Barnes keeps flying high as always. Defenders went down a bit, but the secondary defenders aren't that far off their level so it's not a big problem.

Look how styleishly NZ won today:)

If you consider that a style other than extreme luck you should be thoroughly tested... :p
Great win for NZ though. Shakes the competition up. Gives us a realistic chance of making the top 32 ranks by the time the WCQ draws occur :).

Good win borkos. Comfortably disposed of Island and we now get a rematch against Hellas. Let's beat them this time :).

The game was closer then it looks like when checking stats, but still we deserved to win. I guess we got 1 or 2 goals more because of last weeks strikers' impotence..;-)

I wish we could play someone else than Hellas, but oh well...you've got to do what you've got to do..;).

Scotland and Hellas seem like 65-35 candidates to reach the final, but it might end in a NZ-Australia classic as well...which would be great. :)

Garbage talk. The game hasn't even started and you're already talking as if we've lost. No matter what the situation is you need to believe you can win and to try to win. Otherwise if you don't believe we can win, your tactic will resemble as much and we'll get thrashed.

We can beat Hellas even with those out. We have enough depth now to put out a pretty competitive side. Ok, it may not be our strongest possible list and it might be a major inconvenience but look past that at the opportunity of making another MWC final. :)

Edit: For the record, Hunter,Huxley will both be fit by Saturday, Stewart will be approx SI 1 day so would be playable, Barnes would be 2-3 days SI and would be playable. We don't need negative talk as a way to have an excuse should we lose next week :).
