he he he, really sign up.

It's really really.....pants!

:D

Speed doesn't do too much either.....get it up to about 10 and your fine. (max skill for anything is 20)

Thing is, not being a fan / supporter I can't watch any of the games.

Our manager uploads them to various sites where you can watch them, but unfortunately the ME is so rubbish, after 5 mins you lose all interest.

:)

Only reason I never quit was because it literally takes up 5 mins a day......(if that)

Everyone has high tackling, and since this is more dominant than dribbling, most of the games have few goals.......one has to wait for the players with high defending but relatively low stamina to get tired, lose fitness, causing their skills to reduce.

At this point you sub on your mazy dribblers (that will include me soon) and voila.....goal city.

But again, without fan you can't watch shit.

Anyway, they introduced NT teams early this season.

We lost 6-2 to England which was an amazing result, since England have a pretty tidy side, and we only had 5 semi alright players. (moi included....)...ok, 3 shit hot players, me included, and 2 other people who are ok and the rest of the team is made up of monkeys......

So, join up, and start training. You know you don't want to!!

he he

Oh, and we beat cyprus in our first qualifier for the WC because they couldn't field a full team.

Portugal next, the best side in Footstar, who actually lost to Finland in their first game.

I suspect we shall lose by double figures galore.

I may opt to sit out that game.

:DD

Pretty spot on, except that all the goals are scored from the middle, I think.....again, I don't watch many games......The Game vision and passing and crossing is so messed up, that the wingers just seem to randomly pass the ball........so they aren't too dangerous......trust me to choose early on in the game to train as a winger!!

:(

The ME can only get better!

:)

what does everyone train for there week? the same skill all week? or a variety of everything?
2008-01-24 23:09:46
Depends on the team you are in.

The manager may organise a week of technique, or alternate each day......it's normally worked out with some sense of logic.

:)

My team currently trains dribbling, then positioning, then tech, then game vision, then more tech, GK, then short passing.

Some skills up there I have said are useless, but they may become useful next season, if the ME is tweaked.

i play for a bot team. edinburgh utd in the spl. does this mean i am guarented to play? also how long does it take before you pop in each skill? is it reworked everyday?
2008-01-25 18:45:57
Team Training with a team lets you pop after 8 training sessions. (outfield skill, assuming you train 3 in a row on one day, 3 in a row on another day, and 2 in a row the next.)

It's slightly slower in a bot team.

eg, each session is approx 85% of max, max being training the same as team training.

Always have fitness at or above 90% when you train fitness.

Never train fitness if your fitness is higher than 92%.

You will work it out. :)

Check the rules, and ask on the newb thread. In fact, I recommend reading the entire thread.

woo went up a level :D
2008-01-28 19:40:19
he he :)
2008-01-28 19:42:36
Do not play in any of the NT's until you are 21 (4 seasons from now)

Playing in the NT's screws up your training.

You want to get your training efficiency up above 80% and keep it there for 4 seasons, training TT, this will make you a very good player!

:)

im already in, played that NT versus England also

nice one.
2008-01-28 20:33:33
Despite your best efforts i just registered for this also :)

Doubt i'll be playing very long if your comments are anything to go by though!
2008-01-28 20:36:33
I wasn't exagerating. It's really pish.

Seriously, get into a human controlled team and then train the same as the team.

Mail enigma (louis clark) in the english prem, currently top, and ask if he will sign you....if you like.....

although if you're just going to quit no point.

There is very little to do, and the ME is shite.

Literally, login, set training, interact (incredibly monotonous) and logout.

After a year you should be quite good.

And do NOT train as a GK, training is 3 times as slow as being an outfielder.

I'm amazed anybody signed up after all that negative publicity lol :)
