Subject: Snowed IN

Officially the first time EVER i have been snowed in. Unfortunately i can work from home though :(

Anyone else in the same boat?

Your snowed in on a boat, impressive, you drifted near the friggin North Pole?

A couple of feet of snow to push through when I opened the door Saturday night. But never been snowed in. Snowed in for me is stuck in the house, can't physically open the door due to snow.

Just cuz there is a road or too blocked isn't proper snowed in for me! Thats happened heaps of times when I stayed in the Shire.

Did anyone get thunder and snow, never seen that before, happened Saturday and monday here. Bloomin snow looked blue on Saturday night when the lightening was kicking off. I wasn't around in the 60s but I guess thats what it was like. Weird sh1t going on all the time...

We have a few punters 'working' from home today and yesterday.

never had any thunder or lightening mate that would have been awesome. And yes snowed in by my paraphrase is Cannae move the car.

Thunder lightning and snow here on Saturday morning, pretty impressive. Not quite snowed in but the roads are bad and it's going to get worse before it gets any better.

No boats however......

With any luck it will snow for the next 6 months, and the SPL will be cancelled due to horrendous postponements. Need to look at these kinda options as winning some games for us is looking less and less likely...

Heard thunder and saw flashes of lightning through the half-drawn curtains but never looked out, snow is about 9" deep in the back garden, but roads passable. Back in the 70's I remember wading through drifts to get to work but that was up in the highlands where you regularly got roads completely closed in the winters - mind you they had snow ploughs in those days too! Ain't seen a plough out here in years though the news always manages to find footage of one barreling down a dual-carraigeway with half an inch of snow on it.

Im pretty sure thats a re-run of a snow plough in the eighties.

that has been 12cm of snow fell here in the last 2.5 hours. This is getting beyond a joke

feck it. My utility room has no cold water which means nae washing machine either. Considering the cold water comes in from the kitchen i am baffled at how that can happen. Kitchen water is fine.

Not looking forward to the potential of burst pipe here at all.
