hello!

i need some help. :)
my girlfriend studies dutch, and she would like to improve her knowledge with films, but in hungary is near to impossible get such films, which has original dutch language.

could you offer me such page, where we can download dutch films? we found the minoes but we would like more film.

I would not recommend Dutch films. They are the worst in the world.

okay, but for she the most important is to practice the dutch with films. ;)

A few of them are great :)

Flodder and Vet Hard are examples of dutch movies I like. But the majority of dutch films really suck.

One of the best known recent films is "De Storm", don't know if she's heard of it yet. That film is technically bad (people moving in the background who suddenly stop, even while throwing things that stay put in the air etc), the music that goes with it is bad (Bløf...) but it is one of the least bad movies apart from that :)

Good sites I don't know, have to look for that.

If you have a torrent-downloading site (like uTorrent) you can download a lot of films. I personally prefer Isohunt to download torrents, and then you can download the actual file with uTorrent, but instead of Isohunt you can use a lot of sites. If you have VLC player, you are sure you can play the file you've downloaded. I haven't got any trouble yet downloading any film I want untill this moment... If it's not there on Isohunt, I simply use another site.

Edit: You can download De Storm from Isohunt, the rest of the Dutch films I haven't checked, but it's somewhere to start :)

Here's a site where you can watch programs dat were broadcasted, also some movies spoken in Dutch. You can watch them online. Don't know about the quality of the movies :P

Your girlfriend will like Alles is Liefde as well, I think ;).

De Dominee is pretty good.

i've checked the isohunt too, and i've found the films you've mentioned.
- Flodder
- Vet Hard
- De Storm
- Alles is Liefde

i'm going to download these films. i have an utorrent client, so its not problem to download them.

and this "uitzending gemist" site seems good to me to browse for films, but my girlfriend has already known it. she told me, that in this site she found just a few film.

i would be grateful, if somebody offer me any torrent site, which is usefull to browse dutch films. and any film tip is welcome! :)

If you can get here to watch this tv show, maybe she'll learn something about Dutch voetbal :)

You can search for Flemish films too, they are also in Dutch:
- Loft (2008)
- Daens (1993, partially in French )
- De zaak Alzheimer (2003)
- Dossier K. (2009)

Flemish films are generally even worse than Dutch films though. Plus, Flemish is definitely not the kind of Dutch you'd want to hear when studying Dutch.

Speaking of Dutch movies, the film 'Zwartboek' is quite possibly one of the very few examples of a good Dutch movie.

You should try to let her see this movie : New kids Turbo

Its a movie about a group of youngsters that would be defined als "trailer trash" in Amerika:P

Those 4 movies however are quite good ( not only because I'm Flemish, they were positively criticized by the film industry ). And it is Dutch, only not with your typical tongue, it's more neutral ;-)

And Flemish doesn't exist. It's Dutch or a dialect, but there is no Flemish dialect ;-)
