Imo he was too often all alone with no other option but running dead into a defensive wall. Midfielders were great with pressing though (but that also resulted in some of their winger breakaways). And why not sub your single striker after an hour?

There were 9 scoring opportunities. He scored two important goals. He could make the other two. Colombia could also scored two goals. Barros often plays with 3 def and 5 mid. I thought it important to restrict their possession. I knew that I would have put Flammini r with a chance to score.
If we had not won, important changes were planned.

Lex had two yellow cards. Get him to play thirty minutes with the risk of making him jump to the next game (red card) was an aviable option only in the event of defeat.

You should really have substituted, certainly because all your players had to run a lot. Very weird tactic imo. Didn't make much sense to me. But you won, which is the most important.

I understand that sometimes I can not be clear, but it is my choice. I can not give too many reference points to my opponents. The qualifications are the first step on the road to the world cup. It 'important not to give too many references. It 'important to hide my beliefs tactical. For me it was a tough game. The first as a coach without knowing how the players could adapt to the tactics. I just did not understand your tactic ;-) But a winning coach is always right. But I can really recommend you to do substitutions. We have enough good attackers and a substitution always does better than the first attacker.
