we have not yet recovered from the great emotion of the last week but it is already time to plan the next season to reach the next World Cup qualification.

We will play all the friendly matches untill the end of this season with U20 players that will be useful for the next WCQ.

We will try also to make some experiments during these friendlies in order to arrive ready for the next season.

MATCH LIVE

No goal in this friendly. Anyway I think we played a good match and we created a good number of accasions while in defence the risks were very low.

I think we have a good generation of U20 players, but many of them need to be trained in stamina. It is very difficult to play with players who have 2 or 3, or at maximum 4 in stamina even if they are very strong in the other skills. I hope that these players will be trained at least 2 weeks in stamina at the end of the season or at the beginnning of the next one.

I know that you think that stamina training is a wasted time but it is important also for your teams because your players can play better during matches.

Hello mates,

this week we will play another U20 friendly against Colombia U21.

I allowed our opponent to play with a team composed by a mix of 21-20 and 19 year-old players. I hope NT-coach of Colombia U21 will not play with a lot of 21 yo players, otherwise the match is not equilibrated.

Even in this match we will try to make some experiments in order to arrive ready for the next season.

MATCH LIVE

Good win in this friendly! I am quite satisfied of the match because we were able to create a good number of occasions even if we failed many 1vs1 against their GK. They created no 1vs1 in 90 minutes but they found two fantastic goals very far from our goal.

In the first tactic our strikers were not positioned very well, better in the second tactic. I think they face some difficulties against the opponent's defence because the entire line was made by 21yo player while our strikers have one year less and they are not so completed.

Next week we will play an important friendly against Eesti U21!

I have seen the match and I can say that the result is right. We suffered too much the technique and pace of italian strikers. I have made some mistakes to set our attack but finally I think that yesterday Italy deserved to win.

We hope in a revenge next season :D

It happens, but I think these U20 matches the important thing is to gain experience and evolve tactically. For as well in international competitions you be more prepared.
