WORLD CUP - FINAL PHASE
Hi guys,
The final phase of WC is coming. For the second time in a row we arrive at this important tournament as CHAMPIONS.
In these days, there has been the draws of WC group.
Our group is the following:
I think that we are in one of the strongest groups. We find again France that we encounter in the qualification group. Then we have to play against Brasil which is one of the biggest community in sokker and they want to claim the the match played in the semifinal of last WC. The last team in the group is China which is a very interesting team which has grown a lot in the last seasons.
I will try to do my best to bring Belgium at the highest possible position in the WC tournament. I know that another vistory is very difficult but the important thing is to try and then we will see how it happens.
The WC will start in week 3. Before we have two important friendly matches against C. Republika and Switzerland.

Hello mates,
This week starts the XIII World Cup tournament. We arrive at this appointement as champions for the second time in a row.
The hours before starting WC are always a great emotion because this is the most important tournement here in sokker. If I close my eyes, I think at the great emotions I live in the last WC when we won the Cup in a wonderful match against Romania.
Anyway, in the first week we will play against Brasil. Surely, they want to revenge the semifinal they lost against us in last WC.
We have some problems with strikers and midfielders and it was very difficult to choose 11 players for this match. Anyway we will try to do our best ;)
Our guys have trained very hard to arrive ready to this match. They need the support of all the community to start well this tournament! ;)
To remember the match against Brasil in the last WC, I post here the goal which permitted us to play the final and then win the WC :D

PRESS CONFERENCE
The result of the first match is not so good for us. A victory in the first match would be different.
We started well the match when our strikers try to score a goal many times in the first 20' minutes. Unfortunately they didn't score and then Brasil started to play better than us. The reason is partially that we lost in few minutes both our best striker and defender. This complicates more and more a difficult situation, even for the next match against France, because we have many important players with low form.
In the second half we risk different times to lose the match but our GK made wonderful interventions and save the match.
We hope in a better result in the next match against France, even if it will not be easy. But in WC there are no easy match, all matches are difficult.
We hope also to be a little bit lucky and avoid injuries next time ;)

Sorry guys if i didn't make the presentation of the second WC match but I had a very tough week and I preferred to use the little time at my disposal to prepare tactics without preparing the presentation. I hope in the future it does not happen anymore.
Focusing on the match what I can say is that a draw is the right result for what I have seen in the field. Unfurtunately we arrived at this match with serious problems about our players, also consdering the two injuries of previous week.
We were a bit lucky to score at the minute 89 but at the same time I can say that we were wrong a incredible occasion two minutes before. Clearly I am a little bit angry for the goal we had subject because 99% of that goal is made by our defender who didn't stop well the ball. So at the end the final result is right for me.
Now, we will play our qualification at the last match in the WC group against China. Even if they are already out of WC I think they will do their best in the final match. We need a victory to hope in a qualification. It will be also important to know what it will happen in the other match: Brasil-France. If one of them will win, we will be automatically qualified as second in our group. If they draw we have to win with more than 4 goals of difference against China.
So, the qualification is totally open yet. In the meantime we hope to recover some key players.

Finally we are at the eight finals of WC!! :D
I think we have played a good match against a difficult opponent. Clearly, I hope to score more goals but we were wrong too many times against teir GK (even in this match we failed a penalty). We have also concluded the match in 10 players. This will be a problem for the next match because I don't have at my disposal one of our best defenders.
Fortunately, in the other match Brasil beats France and we are qualified as second in our group.
Next week we will play the eightfinals against Poland of my friend Woody. It will be a very interesting match: the World Champions against the favourite team for the victory.
So, this week I have to work very hard to prepare this important match. It would be very important to recover some important players from low form/injuries.

This week we will play the eight finals of WC! Being among the best 16 teams in Sokker is a great satisfaction for me.
We have reached our first objective which is to pass the group stage of WC. But now we have a very important opponent to play against: Polska. I think that they do not need presentations because they are the first community here in Sokker. They have won the WC for 3 times. They are favourite team for the final victory.
It will be a great match! The World Champions against the favourite team for the victory! Mybe an anticipated final. A match with a lot of tradition and glory: in the field there will be two teams who have won 5 WC in 12 editions.
We know the difficulty of this match and for this reason we will do our best to win this match and arrive at the quarter finals.
Our guys are very exited because they know the importance and the emotions of this match. I have seen them to train very well this week. I hope they can play an important match against a very difficult team.
Anyway, we need the support of the entire community!
