Ok. It's time to sum up 2 first matches in our Qualification group.
Last week against Nederlands we had really bad luck. The match was mainly played in the centre of the pitch but we had more chances. Unfortunatel 2 times more shots than the opponent was not enough. 6 to 12 shots and 4 to 3 goals. Although we have decent strikers and in the end - each of them finished with 1 goal, their GK (who is one of best GKs in Sokker) saved their asses. Here are 2 best chances which didn't result with a goal:

When you not score with such situation it's really hard to win. But if we were better in defense 3 goals ouf of 12 shots could be enough. I watched the match couple times and I found few things which could be improved.
Today I felt big pressure as second bad score would put us in really bad position. That's why I used what we have best against Israel. It was total domination and easy win though. Our rival didn't have even one signle shot. The only bad thinkg was injury but fortunately that was only slight one.
Sterchele lead us to win with his 3 goals but De Moerlooze's imact was also crucial as he made 2 assists.
I am really glad about 3 points and about our defensive play today. I know it was big difference of potential of teams (average mark 71.3 vs 81.9) but still it's not so easy to not let rival for anything.
Next week we'll play friendly match against Italy. Here's full schedul for this season. I arranged really nice opponents to play full squad matches to try different tactics against strong rivals to prepare bettter for next World Cup.

Hello guys. It's been almost month since last public message. Sorry for not writting but I was quite busy. You also didn't ask or comment anything what is quite sad for me.. Here's the summary of that month:
On week 4 we had a U27 friendly match against Italia. The score wasn’t important that much – I wanted to test 2 formations in that match. Both was 4-4-2: first with wide MIDs, second with „double wing” (low and high) on one side. In offensive moments it was quite good although we scored only 1 goal. But I didn’t like our defensive. Especially the opponents decided to play 2 ATTs and 2 wide mids also.
That match was also opportunity give a chance to play to some younger players who will be playing more in next seasons. I also let play Meysmans who suffers from lack of form.. But I see now it’s growing… Hope it’ll go up more.
On week 5 the qualifying matches came back and we faced Hong Kong. As the marks difference between the teams was quite decent I tried 2 experimental tactics. In first I used defender playing a littler higher than others to tackle their wing quicker. In few moments it was good, but when our def lost a duel the winger had a lot of space. It was becasue other defs didn’t secure the area behind high def. I am glad that I tried that maneuver. In second tactic that high def who played with MID order changed position with our side-def and as that part of pitch was not threatened by the rival I tried to use this player in attacking moments. I am not glad how it went so probably won’t use it more. Finally – we won that match 4-2, got another 3 points and made one more little step to the WC.
Last week we played against Russia and I expected that the match would be hard. But our tactic worked perfectly what we can see in the score. 8-1! I was really glad about how our MIDs played, how both of wingers used in this match played and gave assists. On a star of this match was our ATT De Moerlooze who scored 7 goals that day. After that match situation in our group clarifies - we and Nederlands are on top 2 positions and the peloton is staying more and more behind us. We’re gathering points, trying some players, tactics and waiting for a clash agaisnt Nederlands to play for 1st place in our group.

So today, in an our we’ll play with outsider of our group – Shqipëria. Hoping to make nice results with a lot of goals – as I hope that goals diffence will decide about final place in our group.

yep. The match against Shqipëria couldn't have other result. Nice big win with total domination. But like you said - we're waiting for second match against Nederlands.. I know that for you that's only thing that matters in this qualification group ;)

We already discussed that match - not much to say. Easy win, no injuries, 3 points added.

Today we played with top 80+ team and in the first tactic I tried something completely different. I also checked 2 MIDs I haven't used so far. That was realy competitive test and I'm glad we played that match as in qualification I can't check our team against such stron rival. DON SAL wanted to play U27 match (what seems obvious in friendlies) and I'm really happy that he agreed to play full squads.
The score is 2-2 and in that match there was not many shots. But we had some chances. I found some bugs/bad things in tactic so the test was really useful for me to preapre to next season competition in World Cup.
