Subject: [U21] World Cup Qualifications

I have not changed the way we play and the team seems to play like a nice melody, a lot of speed, a lot of passes and a lot of kicks to the goal. It was a pleasant match to watch, lightweight, without danger and with many attack moves. It is also very good to see that we have not conceded a goal this season.

This Friday we are going to play against Georgia.

Georgia are a team that has a very strong attack, very dangerous when they are on the field of attack and we need to play well defensively so as not to let them score goals. Georgia won four straight matches before being defeated by England. Georgia is in second place in the group and certainly they dream of qualifying for the World Cup. They will try to steal points of Eesti this match.

I will not make too many changes on our team. Villi Sulg will be used only in the second half, Ain Lossmann begins the match. In the defense Toivo Printsmann returns to the 11 initials and Tõnu Rumm will only play in the second half. The victory is very important for Eesti to gain an advantage over the group's opponents.

Eesti reached another triumph in the qualifiers for the World Cup.

The team remains clean sheets this season and again scored enough goals to achieve a win without worries, but today the match was not very pleasant to watch. I'm not sure how much the tactic influenced, but surely the lawn with a lot of rain left the team slow.
Our defenders also lost a lot of balls and that makes me worried.

For the next match I intend to use a team with more players of 20 years to give experience and extra training to players who are likely to play the World Cup.

Let's play against Albania tomorrow. Albania have won only Bolivia so far, took 11 goals in 4 matches, which is not much, but we will try to change that.

We easily won Albania. I did not like our game, the tactics did not fit and lack PACE, TECH and PASSING to our U20 midfield.

It was good to use a team almost all U20, it did not disturb the result. Surely these games will benefit us next season.

A curiosity. After the 60 minutes two players of 20 years entered the match, as of this moment we had only players of 20 years and the team scored 4 goals. Marcaram gols:

Eesti U21 is having a great leap towards the top. Good job from the previous coach and from current coach. I guess we have never been so close to the top 3 (or for a very long time so I can't even remember it any more).

The community is very important, it produces quality players for selection. Eesti has a very good team. R.Fiets also did an excellent job. I got the selection with the updated players, he did all the work for me.

Today we did not make many goals, but it was enough for a comfortable win. The team kicked many times, but in fact many kicks were not good chances of goal.

A lot of pass errors have bothered me, but we still have a good time to evolve ... I hope the team is up one level until the World Cup.
