I think that you should talk whit Sydval about that tactic :)) Its worth of try. I think Latvija never played whit only 1 striker, maybe you should look how it works?

yes,i'm totally agree with you.Sydval was my tutor on sokker and i knew him very well,i was striker scout in Italian Staff and we talked sometimes about tactics. We had the same point of view,we like to play very offensive, this time he played with only one striker, sincerely i never played with only 1 striker as i remember well,(of course,i am striker trainer,so i use to play with 3 strikers!!) but i agree with you,i should look how it works!!

I am wondering of his formation - to give away midfield completely and play with one winger. Is it good tactics? I've never studied other NT tactics before.

Sorry Lauzejs,i always miss your questions..

About Finland tactic,it could be used if you have a winger with high passing/pace/PM and low defence, but i don't like to play like Finland becouse the low midfield does not give good passages to the strikers and winger does not touch a lot the ball during the match even i won a championship in the past with the winger :)))
