Subject: Ireland Vs...

Ha, what defence?

Clayton Kinsella is great, no-one else comes to mind. I'll check.

You can just about put out 4 or 5. I'm suprised more people arent training defenders when it'd be easy to get them into the national squad.
2008-12-23 22:54:58
Thats what I'm training next season actually.
2008-12-23 23:17:59
I had planned on you taking charge of the game against Iceland this week but there's no point while Greg keeps messing around with the engine. I've no idea what formation i'll be playing against Cambrant yet.

its npt about training defenders mate its more the problem about there being youths to train for the NT...

i went out and bought 2 trainees from elsewhere caus theres nothing from ireland worth training as defenders... hopefully i can get a youth or 2 who are worthwhile in the next while...

Thx for the show Nin, i would love to have Curley in my team, he was awesome.
2008-12-27 22:02:32
It was an uncharacteristic performance from him. I'd like to see him play that way more often.
Shane is going to be less than happy about the injury to Caffrey for tomorrows game.
2008-12-27 23:15:16
Great result today. Maybe its a sign of things to come for Curley... hopefully!
2008-12-28 03:09:55
I thought it was my Caffrey when I saw your message :) I think he might have too much for me anyway...
2008-12-28 20:34:21
It'll make a difference if he doesnt put in a replacement. Shane hasnt been on since Thursday.
2008-12-28 21:59:27
luckily injury wasn't too bad

New Zealand tomorrow, previous results

Ireland 2-3 New Zealand - Season 11 (Shaneteam)
Ireland 5-1 New Zealand - Season 10 (Ganzengeile)
Ireland 2-2 New Zealand - Season 07 (Nin)
Ireland 1-4 New Zealand - Season 04 (Shaneteam)

No-one has kept a cleansheet yet so i'm expecting goals. I played Seca during the week in a 1-1 although neither team was anywhere near full strength. New Zealand have been running rampant in the last couple of weeks, hammering good Russian and Belarussian teams.

1-1

Bleh. If our strikers have their shooting boots on, we win the game comfortably. Curley and Caffrey were both poor though.

best of luck in the reelection mate. u have my vote ;)
2009-01-03 13:26:33
I guess Nin get probably all votes from the active managers here in the forum! ;-)
Hopefully it's enough, was it last season or two seasons ago when a Polish manager withdrew from the election even though he had more than 10 votes and it could have been thight between him and Nin.

However, I'm optimistic than Nin's gonna win again, he's definitely doing a lot for the Irish team, more than anybody else, and it would been a huge loss for Ireland if Nin isn't gonna be elected! ;-)

yeah thats what the problem is... if they spam some of the lower league managers with links (yeah i know its bannable etc...) then they could get the votes...
