25 minutes in. Looks like you got the tactics right, apart from the wing you chose to attack on. Not sure about the advanced wing-backs but see how it goes.

Very good result against what was a fairly poor Dutch team. We looked dead in the 2nd half though and the substitutions could have come earlier.

Well done fella- great tactics and a great result :) Nice choice on our four overage players as well.

Great result, the defense played very solid. The 4th over 21yo player was very important.

In my eyes this match showed clearly how important a divine keeper is! It was a similar tactic than two weeks ago against Austria, the opponent was stronger and we still managed to have a much better score.

The defense is very important, compare to other U21 matches our defenders didn't lose a single tackling frontside, it's a small thing but very important. The defense is our biggest problem in the U21 at the moment, Hanrahan and Docherty were neede, otherwise Nederland would have crushed us.

Dean played because I wanted to have an experienced player in the middle. He was able to win tacklings and he has enough stamina.

The winger was too inefficient, he wasn't placed that well ...
Unfortunately Cramer got slightly injured, from then he didn't play very well.

And Curley is simply fantastic for his age! His defender skill can be very very important in huge matches! And he showed that he's able to be dangerous even against top teams!

Finally it shows that if we can use just a few older player we're a little bit competitive.

And don't forget that Treacy, Abbott, Elce, Fransson, Sanabria and Fitzgibbon are only 20! Caffrey even 19!
Only Curley, Hogan and Cramer were 21.

So it doesn't look that bad, the only problem is that we don't have that many good players, but that's logical with only about 60 managers ...

Nevertheless, I'm happy about the result! ;-)

Yeah i thought it showed that, aside from the defence, we've actually got a good young squad. Curley seemed to suffer in the 2nd half, maybe stamina, i dont know.

Oh yes, about the substitutions.
I didn't want to change too early because of the huge differences in the skills! We have excactly this 7 players from U21 who are good enough to compete with stronger teams, all others (except Cramer who has no stamina) are much weaker.

That's why I wanted to change as late as possible ...

How far is Kemp from playing? At the moment he's still carrying an injury but in terms of value, he's only slightly behind Sanabria

nice match and VERY nice result!
Congrats!

At the moment Kemp is a few pace levels behind Sanabria, the other skills are similar.
And of course his defender skill is much weaker, which means he'll only have chances to play if the tactics allows him not to have any defending tasks ...
