Subject: Robnob's Newbie Guide
The basic advice when you have been playing a bit and have money spare and think it is time to expand is:
1) invest in trainees
2) do you fill it every week? if not invest in trainees
3) Are you sure you can't improve your trainees? - then seats on the line and benches elsewhere - but only if they will be used and you get a better return on the seats so concentrate on them.
4) Roofs are for teams with more money than sens(ible ways to spend it on trainees) and 20000+ gates

I just registered a team and I want to make as few mistakes as possible. in order to achieve this, for start I have few questions.
first thing I did was hiring a coach. I'm planning to train striker skill so here is what I did.
I hired
Head coach
Training effectiveness:
incredible of stamina hopeless of keeper
very good of pace excellent of defender
adequate of technique solid of playmaker
outstanding of passing magical of striker
assistant coach
Training effectiveness:
unsatisfactory of stamina average of keeper
outstanding of pace incredible of defender
unearthly of technique incredible of playmaker
average of passing average of striker
and second assistant coach is not good , I hired him because of low wage. is this enough or I need to hire more assistant coaches?
I also have a question about trainees. how many strikers I should train to get fastest result? I bought one 18 years old striker and I'm planning to buy 2 more.
my training type is : Striker
Training match order: ATT
do I need to change something else in order to train strikers fast?
as for youth academy, I'm still trying to learn more about it, before I decide to hire junior coach.

It would be best if his striking would be unearthly, but I guess the difference in not notable. I have no idea what is his wage, but the other skills should be as low as possible. You should have set them to unsatisfactory.

You haven´t read the rules well - for assistant coach only his overall (average) skill is important, same goes for junior coach. Head coach is different - only his single skills matter. In the beginning you should hire three assistants, which is maximum btw. If you pull them then set all skills on good or solid. Three solid assistants in the beginning should be enough. read the rules or the first post of this thread again. Everything about coaches is explained there.
I also have a question about trainees. how many strikers I should train to get fastest result
If you start training striking, then 6 players maximum. You can use three players with ATT orders every game, don`t forget that. Otherwise you will lose training.
Train 6 players - No need to hurry. Tomorrow-Firdayare the days, when many new trainees will be transferlisted. Age should be 16-18. The older the better. In this game trainees have talent. Remember that anything below 5 is good. 5 means how fast he popped in junior school, pops every 5 weeks are satisfying. Strikers don´ t need only striking, you should also train technique and pace. But no hurry to change training. For example train one season striking, stamina in off-season, then pace for a season, aga in stamina and third season tech.
my training type is : Striker
Training match order: ATT
Correct!
as for youth academy, I'm still trying to learn more about it, before I decide to hire junior coach.
Feel free to open it - Youth school is a long term project. You´ll have to wait few months to get something good. Anyway I suggest to open it, set it 6 slots. No need to hire junior coach until you decent juniors will join.

Thank you very much for valuable help. Its greatly appreciated..
I followed your advices, so i fired all coaches and hired new ones. Now My head coach is weak coach but his striking skill is unearthly. I also hired 3 assistant coaches, 2 of them are good and 1 is avarage. I have 3 trainees already. So i need 3 more, but i heard somewhere here that if player plays twice a weak in same position, he recieves double training. Is it true?

Almost - you will get 1-6 juniors every Saturday. It´s random how many you will get.
Feel free to post them here, you probably don´t know which one to keep.
Your new coaches are good.

Thanks. For junior player, does the current skill is more important or potential? Also does talent means potential?
talent will determine how much the current level will rise before the youth is pulled - and how good he is at training later
So if junior is good and has talent 4, that means he will train +4 skills before he is pulled?
higher number is his talent, faster he will train in senior squad?

so if a junior is good and has talent 4, that means he will train +4 skills before he is pulled?
no it means that he will pop a level in youth school every 4 weeks... so if he comes in as "good" with 16 weeks and has 4 week talent he would be "formidable" when you pull him. the skills are distributed randomly, so he might have a nice mix of skills or just 1 or 2 higher skills. the maximum any skill can be on a junior is "excellent"
higher number is his talent, faster he will train in senior squad?
no, the lower the talent the better. the talent is how many weeks per pop n youth school... the quicker they go up levels in youth school the quicker they will train in the senior squad

Anzor Eliava hopeless 11 Vitaly Lagidze poor 28
these are 2 juniors I got this week. I don't see their talent anywhere and I'm not sure if its worth to hire junior coach in order to train them

the hopeless 11 is not woth it, the poor 28 might be if talented. talent is hidden so you will only know the talent after they have been in your youth school long enough to rise 2 levels... but they will only rise once you have a coach.
