Subject: 250 k in debt
Is it safe to expand a stadium now - which is the right time, knowing the for a couple of days i might like 300k or more in debt? I am talking about next Saturday through Monday until the bonuses come in.
When they started putting new teams in B-league my sponsors money came down from 135k to 88k which screwed up my financial plan.
This is a crime, like I said before certain veteran managers will start leaving the game becuase of $$$ hardship.

I certainly know what to do and what I can afford.
I just asked if there was some risk going bankrupt if I stayed under -250k as I never went below that threshold before.

Yeah, I thought I wouldn't need more than 2000 in the corner.
I did expand today, though. 4000 behind the goal and now I am nearly -250k in debt. After the season starts it's time to buy 2 experienced Defs and 1 Mid and I will be all set for A-League (or at least I think I will)))).

im just sayin u paid more per seat that way to build
That doesn't mean its not a smart Idea. There are more variables then just price per seat. Having benches in all 4 corners is a good idea in my mind, even if its 1k to start. You eliminate the standing room only seats and pull in extra revenue. And if you overbuild you have extra costs.
im just sayin your explanation is vanilla.

Your stadium generates maximum $236,250 at the moment, mine $172,500. It is not that big of a difference and for the level of my team is more than enough. With all those years spent in lower leagues it is really hard to expand for extra 2000 seats, let alone 4500.
You are talking from the perspective of Major Leaguer where because of the better money flow you can do more calculations how to save a penny or two. At lower levels even a little bit of extra income is important and you can't worry too much about overpaying for some investments or else your team will not progress.

amen.
i just expanded by a couple thousand in my corners. with the new influx of noobs into the B leagues my revenue has dropped from 135k from sponsers each week to 80k... money is becoming scarce like c league again...

Good luck in getting out of this terrible B.03 next season or two.
well if you want to get into it in that perspective i personally wouldnt invest in stadium if i couldnt afford constructing at minimum cost/seat, trainees pay themselves off multix faster if u find a good one / train him correctly
i dont think many people even know minimum cost/seat constructing from standing

Also, by investing in the stadium you have less money to buy trainees. That's a mistake.
By investing in your stadium you should generate more biweekly income, and therefor afford better coaches. Your trainees will train faster then the next cycle you can afford better trainees.
There needs to be a balance, not investing at all or investing to much is a mistake.

dunno. I might tend to agree with dagwood on this. it is HARD to make bi-weekly profit with minimum sized arena.
however going into to debt $250K to expand is too much. expand in smaller steps
