Would it be worth it for me to upgrade my current junior from outstanding to incredible?
Or would I not really see much of a difference unless I went to brilliant/magical?

HeThe incredible will only be worth if the outstanding got a ver high salary, i think a brilliant will be a better solution.
yeah, not much of a difference in training between the two. i would assume it would make less than a .25 week difference in training rate from outstanding to incredible. anyone else have amore exact figure?
I think I'm already paying a little too much for my outstanding coach though..
He's taking $21,125 from me each week

21k is on the high side. Check the TL for oustanding coaches. There are tons with 15K wage. If you are going to spend 21k, you might want to try and get an incredible coach.
As far as the difference, I have no idea. I pay A LOT of money on my coaches, but I think it's worth it. To me the possibility of pullling a stud youth is one of the funnest parts of the game.

There is a difference, i started out with a Formidable coach, then an outstanding, then an incredible, and now i have a brilliant coach. And i had asked the same question when i had a formidable coach.
I tested all of them out on one player who is coming out in the middle on this season. I had saved his entire graph but my stupid hard drive crashed at the begining of the year and i lost all my data :(
However, from what i remembered, the change was noticable when the skill difference was 2 levels. So, if you had an outstanding coach, i'd recommend a brilliant one. I pull my coaches and have been really lucky, got a brilliant for 29k. Before that i had an incredible for 20.5k, who's now one of my assistants.

brilliant with salary of 29k and incredible with 20.5k???
wow, that is sweet
my brilliant takes 35k and incredible 24k so every week i lose 10k more than you for the same quality of the training...

what i remember for sure was a junior who was popping like this -/----/----/ (4,4) with a incred coach. The same player continued to pop like this after I got the brilliant /---/----/- (3,4).
So his complete pops look like this -/----/----/---/----/- (4,4,3,4...) hopefully he pops again in 2 weeks.
Hope this helps your decision making process.

your junior had a talent below 4.
now whether the 3 week pop was thanks to the brilliant coach - i am not so sure.
in my case i had a junior with talent below 4 and i was also alternating an incredible and a brilliant coach. well first i had the incredible one only and it was then when my junior had his only 3 week pop.
i hired a brilliant coach. he was the junior coach since then almost every week (it depended on what i was training at that time) but the junior never popped again in three weeks.
i think the difference between a brilliant and incredible coach is sth like 0.1 per training

i think that might be a little low... maybe .15. that would leave rood for the difference between brilliant and magical might be .1.
Yeah, thats what i was thinking, was it just coincedence or did the brilliant coach have an effect. But there were more of those kinds of pop.
I hired that brilliant coach on a friday and i had 4 players that had just completed pops from average to adequate, good to solid, the other 2 i cant remember. So they were all starting fresh with the new brilliant coach, and all of them popped one week less that they used to with the incred. coach.
Then a couple of them got promoted and the other 2 began alternating between the pops they had with the incred and brilliant.
Ie. ( this is a recreation of what i meant, i cannot remember the exact change). The bolded part is the when the brilliant coach took over. So although the improvement is not too drastic, over a long period of time, say 22 wks or more, it does make a difference
(5,5,B,4,5,4)
Here are the coaches that i was talking about,
Benjy Perkins, age: 66
wage: 20 250 $
club: HaMMeR, country: USA
incredible coach
Training effectiveness:
unearthly of stamina solid of keeper
formidable of pace brilliant of defender
excellent of technique unearthly of playmaker
incredible of passing incredible of striker
Earl Searles, age: 53
wage: 28 825 $
club: HaMMeR, country: USA
brilliant coach
Training effectiveness:
unearthly of stamina solid of keeper
unearthly of pace unearthly of defender
unearthly of technique incredible of playmaker
brilliant of passing outstanding of striker
edit... let me change those dashes....to numbers
