For all you experienced managers.....

I have a player who popped to brilliant from Incredible in 5 weeks (Pace)
This fella was in my team when i got it. So i was wondering how talented do you think he is.

From what i remembered ( hard drive crashed on new years eve.)

Excellent-Formid - 4 wks
Formid-Outstanding - 5 wks

What do you think his pops will be like if i trained passing?

this is the chart someone else put together that i go by. its correct for trainees with 4 week talent.

poor to adequate - 2 weeks per pop
good to excellent - 3 weeks per pop
formidable to outstanding - 4 weeks per pop
Incredible to brilliant - 5 weeks per pop
Magical - 6 weeks
Unearthly - 7 weeks
Divine - i'm guessing 8 weeks but this one i don't know.

this chart is not taking age in to consideration?
2009-02-17 13:37:09
yes, it age appropriate. thats why i said trainees. i don't consider a 23 year old a trainee. apologies for not being more clear.
2009-02-17 21:13:32
is it for pace or for other parameters?

i have a trainee with 3.8 week talent under an incredible coach. he has now 2.5 pace trainings without a pop...
2009-02-17 21:56:16
pace train slightly slower. what skill level pace are you at now?
2009-02-17 22:23:08
he is weak (and 20 yo)
2009-02-17 22:30:17
he should pop this week, but might be next. with an incredible coach you're really not maximizing his training.
2009-02-18 00:34:54
the main coach has 4uneathly parameters including pace but when he was in the junior school his coach was incredible and his talent was 3.8 which means that his talent is actually better than 3.8.
2009-02-18 01:00:26
sorry, misread. i should really stop drinking in the middle of the day. pace trains slower. i've had a 3.5 talent who took longer than usual to pop... oh well.

Just curios, what about
adequate - good
excellent - formidable
outstanding - incredible
2009-02-22 16:31:47
poor to adequate - 2 weeks per pop
good to excellent - 3 weeks per pop
formidable to outstanding - 4 weeks per pop
Incredible to brilliant - 5 weeks per pop
Magical - 6 weeks
Unearthly - 7 weeks

means that for all the levels named in that grouping, it takes that long to pop to them... so:
skill - number of weeks
0. tragic - 1
1. hopeless - 1
2. unsatisfactory - 1
3. poor - 2
4. weak - 2
5. average - 2
6. adequate - 2
7. good - 3
8. solid - 3
9. very good - 3
10. excellent - 3
11. formidable - 4
12. outstanding - 4
13. incredible - 5
14. brilliant - 5
15. magical - 6
16. unearthly - 7
17. divine - .....

is that more clear? again, pace trains a bit slower.
2009-02-22 19:34:55
ahhhh i seee now.

again, pace trains a bit slower.

I somewhat agree with that, but i have one trainee, Glen Segal (3.66 Talent in YS) who just popped to adequate pace in 2 weeks. Same as his average, weak, poor pops ( they all took 2 weeks to pop)

As you said, this chart is accurate for talent 4. But will 0.44 talent difference make a such an impact on pace pops?

huge no, but i see that as possible...

What training setting do you guys use for tech training? Is there a noticeable difference?
