Just started today, the game seems deep but confusing so far. I don't know what to do starting off and I don't want to go spending willy nilly. Please contact me and let me know - I did pay for plus but it appears it takes a few days for it to kick in.

I play PPM as well - if anyone else here does hehe.

i would suggest joining Fromasterflex's mentoring association and reading the beginners guide first.

it is a good suggestion. it is in associations, but you will only be able to join once plus is working on your team. good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

first, READ AND REREAD THE RULES!

next, understand that most of the players on your team now are going to be quite bad. this is what all of us had to deal with. evaluate to team, look for the few players who could contribute right away and sell/sack the rest. is is not uncommon for complete turnover of your team...most of us only have 1-3 initial players on our current rosters tops.

once you have evaluated who is worth keeping/selling/sacking, start to look for players on the transfer market. you should initially buy 6-9 or so players to field a decent beginning team.

next buy coaches, i recommend 3 asst coaches, and 1 main coach. the asst coaches should have a wage of no more than 2-3k. it is very important to get a main coach with min unearthly parameter of whatever you decide to train (~10-18k).

most important, keep asking questions, good luck!

the fro forum will be very good for your teams development, you just have to filter out the nonsensical banter :)

I just registered a team and I want to make as few mistakes as possible. in order to achieve this, for the start I have few questions.
first thing I did was hiring a coach. I'm planning to train striker skill so here is what I did.
I hired

Head coach

Training effectiveness:
incredible of stamina hopeless of keeper
very good of pace excellent of defender
adequate of technique solid of playmaker
outstanding of passing magical of striker

assistant coach

Training effectiveness:
unsatisfactory of stamina average of keeper
outstanding of pace incredible of defender
unearthly of technique incredible of playmaker
average of passing average of striker

and second assistant coach is not good , I hired him because of low wage. is this enough or I need to hire more assistant coaches?

I also have a question about trainees. how many strikers I should train to get fastest result? I bought one 18 years old striker and I'm planning to buy 2 more.
my training type is : Striker
Training match order: ATT
do I need to change something else in order to train strikers fast?
as for youth academy, I'm still trying to learn more about it, before I decide to hire junior coach.

alright matey. I suggest you join fromasterflex's metor forum. There is a load of guys in there who talk about stuff like this and try to help eachother out.

Basically i think you need a main coach who is unearthly on his strike training. Other than that you ideally want 3 good (on their overall skill) assisstants. You can get these guys really cheap, get the ones with the lowest weekly wage you can.

I ideally you want 6 trainee strikers, as you can play 3 in each game. You probably want guys with something like solid pace, solid tech, solid strike as you can get these guys for 50 K (dollars) and therefore invest all of your start up money. Each strike pop on a guy like that makes you a significant profit should you decide to sell. A guy who has adequate strike and pops to good doeant really become that much more valuable.

Hope this helps,

Gaz

dont do the youth acadamey. costs loads of your income as a new team for virtually no return for a long time. Wait till you are more established/promoted.

disagree.

agree

I did a youth academy in the bottom USA league for ages. I only made 48 K sponsorship money. When I stopped doing the school and saved 25 K per week on the players and the coach. After 5 weeks I bought a player for 130 K who was a brilliant junior with 3.8 week talent who had never played a game. In addition, because I was buying a guy with the money I got to choose the distribution....Good deal imo
