display tactic lines as we have them on tactic editor (35 squares)

It sounds different, if you show squares (35) with lines like in tactic editor, it would be useful for making better tactics.

Anyway, it's only for making tactics, not exciting to watch.

It can be a third viever option like (3D / old 2D / tactic view).

But it is still one viewer for web with options. I got neighbors who have Wi-Fi but have neither a PC nor a laptop. Then there are people who have PCs but barely use them. People have computers in their pockets.

I am talking about an extra viewer for mobile, ideally within an app. Just having a responsive website is not enough for Sokker. It's 2020, so what if your website is responsive.

Don't get me started on ME :D

exactly! i think you can have two different insights during watching.
First one is, when you want to feel emotions, be a part of the event - here its great to make viewer more realistic, with all proposed intro, to make it like in real TV.
Second is, when you analyzing games, preparing new tactics - and here it will be great to have a strategic tool.

So, if we will add some day also top view / tactic mode, i'm pretty sure to use both types of view, depends from context of watching.

The perfect game :)

who has time to watch hundred games twice its not realistic :( in reality user just pick the option that gives them both of them nice view and tactical feedback to adjust tactic ...
sokker never was for fancy graphics and i do not think focus should be there . the view from top as circles sucks no point of it at all

I agree that the graphics are not the point. It's a browser game, we like it for the tournaments, the tactics, the training, etc. Developers should be focused on these aspects of the game and not so much for the graphics in my opinion.

Graphics are very important. We live in the year 2020-2021, and there is much competition.

The world today is appearance. If you can choose, almost everyone prefer a new car than an old car.

If you want to advertise a game you need to have good graphics (otherwise you are wasting time and money). There may be exceptions but not in these types of games.

Everyday users are going down and that's one of the main problems.

+++ exactly!
Better graphics = more entertaining. Especially for a football manager game where people want to feel like it's real.

Well maybe for users that will register and then will give up in few months ...

I don't know about you, but I started in this game precisely because of the viewer. and I've been playing for more than 15 years. There were already games with circles for players. but, precisely the viewer, made it different. and that's why I liked it. you compare it with FIFA or PRO. Is not the same. One thing is an immediate interactive game and another is a manager game in which tactics and strategy are the most important. but I don't see the problem with that image being that of a player jumping and hitting a ball. and not a circle. it will fulfill the same tactical function. agree. but if a significant number of users like this more and, above all, it will attract new users, I do not see the problem. what's more, I consider it absolutely necessary

Same for me. I played other games and I stayed here because of the viewer.

Well same for me current 2d viewer despite bugs and flaws is best thing on web

sviktorov is right.

Sokker is focus on tactic, and its unique. Long term users, keep playing the game (i never see a game not update for years with such a resilience ) and for one reason : no other web competitors in term of tactic.

The (actual) 3D engine was supposed to attract new players. That was the case for a while, but it didn't stop a lot of players from leaving the game. While 3D consumed a lot of resources (from devs) nothing had been done to improve and strengthen the tactical aspects : precisely what the most long terms users were asking or hoping for !

Perhaps this little historical reminder would be useful : graphics didn't save sokker, its attracted users to see them leave, and the most 'loyal' gamers stayed here. That it may not happen again :-)

+1 totally agree

Graphics are very important. We live in the year 2020-2021, and there is much competition.

I completely disagree.

They may be important for the kind of games in which they are important. But not for everything.

If you want to compete with FIFA, PES, etc, of course. But anybody thinks seriously the 'New Sokker' has, with this 'technology' and graphical results, any serious option to compete with them, yet as a joke?

It seems that some some people, perhaps the new Devs included, have completely fogotten what the second word in 'Sokker Manager' stands for. This is (or it supposedly was, until now at least) a footbal cul manager, no a football matches arcade. And the 2D engine was, simply PERFECT for a huge numer to managers.

To see the resultas of ypur tactics, the performance of the players, and the overal teams play all togueter, at a simple glance, and in context, I would dare to say it was the jackpot, the true sould of Sokker.

But 3D, cameras, angles... what is this? For what? Surely some people would like them, but are they really appealing for fost users? Does it really deserve the time, effort and money for implementing? Imho, focusing so much in the 3D, instead of addressing more usefull improvement, was Greg's biggest blunder. And it seems it's going to continue, for worse, if in the end the objective is removing the 2D view, leaving at most its simulation by adjusting the camera somewhat to obtain something silimlar, yet in the en you'll be forcing something which has not been designed for that objective.

In the end, in my case at least, these 'images' which they share give me more dissapointing than anything else. Of course, probably it's just me.

100% agree with you
