We can also have some stats like:

1) Number of Passes by each player, number of successful passes, unsuccessful passes, pass accuracy %

2) Number of shots by each players, shots on target, shots/game, shot on target %, goal conversion accuracy.

3) Number of clearances by defenders

4) Number of tackles, successful tackle %

5) Ball possession by each player by number of minutes

6) Number of times players(attackers, mids) beat defenders and its %

7) Number of minutes played by each player during the season

We can split these stats by official and friendly games and also have combined stats. Of course, there would be separate stats for NT games as well.

This can attract people who love stats.

in statistics will be great to have full history of world cup finals all the job @woody is doing now great job by the way to be able to read on statistics page of u21 and WC

1) I think that for each player, along with the official matches a player has played, there should also be info about the number of friendly games that he has played, goals scored and assists, etc.

2) For every fixture, there should also be the rank of the country in brackets. I'll just give an example: Polska (1) vs Italia (2) . Something like this so that people will understand the relative strength of both teams.

Both these updates won't involve too much coding.

More statistics better one of best things for plus and not only some stats should be for all

On the statistic page it would be nice also to have the list of all the youth players from the team and not only the active ones as it the case now.

I think, that the assist counting should be improved, like it is in real football. In sokker player gets assist if his shot hit the post or goalkeeper and other striker scored, but often if the player make a good through ball and striker run with ball few metres he doesnt get assist.

good point, sometimes a player assists on the goal but it is not in the statistics

For example
The "shots" statistics in the match report is quite meaningless. It would be much interesting to see a diagram of the positions from where the shots where actually taken.
i.e.

Also for rankings of every country/club, there should be some previous ranking and rating in brackets like we have for FIFA rankings. This way, users can see the jump in ranking and rating.

h2h stats should have menu to chose competitive games, friendlies or junior games.
all scenarios should calculate how much matches, wins, draws, defeats and if possible goal difference.

Small statistical change proposal...

Show with each player in stead of only showing how much matches he played for the National Team, also how much for the U21 team. Cause now, if you have a 27 y old for example, he shows 6 matches played for National Team, but you don't know if it was U21 or National Team...
It's a tiny minor change, but it gives away alot how the player has evolved...
