The idea is good, but why the hell do I want foreign players in my youth school when I would rather train players for my country? What does the applicant of this thread say to this?

it wouldn't be obligatory; You aren't the only one with such attitude and Karsten was the first one
generally, the solution is pretty simple - You choose to have or haven't foreign juniors and that's all

that's hard and I don't know, that's why I suggest it being free of charge
I already wrote about it a couple of times - if the scout/junior would be payable then why anyone would pay for him if he can get the same junior just from his own country for free? (this way almost always no one would pay for foreign junior) and potential response like foreign junior being just better (skill-wise) would cause also another, just reversed question - who wouldn't pay for for foreign junior if that junior would be better junior than normal one? (and this way everyone would always choose to pay for foreign junior because this gives better chances to gain better junior)
So finally I think that is't the best to leave it free of charge, just an option for every manager with YS to support countries with low YS-power

I think it should be free, but I think it should be compulsory.

Why would you want another nationality in your youth school? Because you know overall, it is better for your country if every youth coming in to sokker has a random % chance of being from another country.

So you may miss out on 1 or 2 players a season, but your country gets a lot more.

So it's a matter of giving just a tiny bit, to receive a lot

I see: Because I forgot that even outside my country, players from my nation can emerge. It is feasible, but it requires a lot of voluntary work.

Basically I support the idea that weaker nations (by that I mean the nations with few users) get a little more player material for his country.

get @Ortwin in that country :) he is whole national team you do not need much users for that ...

I think the only entrance, and what keeps players from small countries, is the youth school, and having the pride that their youth is on the national team, is not about economics, but about pride. In any case, if you make the decision to make an international school in countries that really need it, for example: that have less than 10 users only in those countries, your idea would work, although I don't think it works correctly.

Less than 10 users means max 9 YS - it's pretty much obvious that all of them will have their player in NT. It's nice to have one or two but I am not sure if they are that proud of it, because in their cases it is easy, due to lack of competition.

Wouldn't it be better if they have country-power of let's say 20-30 YS? More players, more better players and still 1/3 of these would originate from their teams.

So why not take the idea of @daishinkan-sama? It would be better to nationalize outstanding players to small countries. (Page 6)

yes, that's why I suggested that number, I am still talking about the same country, the one with less than 10 users

But if your school starts competing with the schools of those weak countries, the whole selection of that weak team will be from your club and none will be native to their country. Don't you think it would be unfair?

With 3 to 5% chance, a youth player will be from a random foreign country, I think if that's the case, they better scrap the country... The possibility for that to even happen is near impossible...

I understand Your concerns, but I think that in weak countries there are also at least brilliant junior coaches and juniors talent etc. are all random so there would be no big difference in junior quality output between YS like mine and YS from weak country so ultimately it all boils down to who have how much juniors and 1/3 will be from weak country in this case (and even including coach quality brilliant in weak country and unearthly in all others it would be like 1/4 so 25% would originate from the weak country which is still good ratio).
