About what?

If you mean international youth schools ... You do realize Dtox9 wrote absolutely nothing about international youth schools being a bad idea, right!?

Well, as long as it are small countries that are helped, there are multiple ways to do that, also combinations.

And maybe such a feature will make more managers agree with the idea. Who knows :)

But indeed, the idea is to help small countries.

I wouldn't read too much in to it. He would have been just replying to the last person who posted, not to you as such.

Definitely keep chatting

As I read it, Dtox9 said this topic is for ideas how to help small countries. Your idea is a side step (as I see it), that others could see as a different idea so it needs a new topic.

That's what I think Dtox9 meant.

I think Pedro just did +1's (although I could be blind) but others from his country have spoken

If players can be nationalised, every NT will look very similar, and there will be no real pride in your own countries pulls.

It will not be on their hands to do this. Only managers could be able to do this after scouting, purchasing and training young players that are'nt NT players. Is as real life, although this is not important it's more fair. Let's think abaout a player going to play to another country and, after years to live there has the chance to get the new nationality. Many of the best players in the world has done this step. It's fair for everybody.

BTW This idea (nationalise, after some seasons, not NT players) is not confrontative with international youth schools (I agree with this) but complementary.

I meant is not a massive impact. Only few players will achieve this status. And always not being NT player before.

Unfortunately it won't be just a few players, it will be a majority. I have had players for many seasons, and if I had 1 season more, could literally fill my entire NT with a whole new defensive line. That isn't right. All the people pulling for their country miss out. All those who trained local juniors miss out.

There will be literally no market for small country players, it will just be a bunch of poland/italy/spain/romania etc youth players that change their nation to the small one.

If this was to be introduced, it would be more financially beneficial to shut down my youth school and save 100k per week to buy players.

I'm OK with small countries not being as strong as larger ones, just want to decrease the gap. I don't want all nations to be basically the same, as it's pretty easy to buy players that will Max out on their positions main skills

It seems you ignore the rule limitating nationalising to non NT players.
Same arguments can be argued against international youth school.

For me priority is to rise andorran juniors. But the fact is that with only 3 schools is impossible to train many good players.
Real population is what is. But immigrate people are a increasing reality.
So, now if I want to optimise my repoker of high waged trainers I need to train foreign players or just train majority of 11 level players. This is unfair.

And never a country like Andorra can have the same level as Polska. This is a demagogical argument. You just don't like the idea but your arguments here aren't clear and fair and you are projecting numbers without sense.

I think we just have different opinions on how we think we should grow numbers across sokker.

I don't ignore the NT rule, I just know that if we nationalise players, Polska rejects will end up making up 90% of smaller countries NT players (after they have been nationalised). I don't think this is right, and it removes all reason for me to have a youth school. It would be better to buy players on the transfer market (that have not played NT for their country, which is most), and keep them long enough, and train them, to play for Australia. There would literally be no point in small countries having youth schools.

If there is no point in having youth schools from a small country, that removes an entire part of the game, and an exciting part as well. I will no longer be competing with 10-20 others for pulling youths, + relatively small % from other countries if there is a random element, I will not be competing with 10,000 people to pull Australias future NT players (because I will just buy and nationalise).

So that is my main argument.

A secondary, much smaller argument. It would actually not be fun for NT coaches because of the work they would have to do monitoring every single player, to see if they nationalised away from their country, or if someone from their country has a player that could be nationalised.

I want our countries to get stronger, but I think nationalising is a step too far, with implications on other aspects of the game. People have already complained my idea is bad because it is bad for the small countries users as they won't be the only ones pulling their countries youth from youth schools, nationalising will take that argument and give it steroids, and some actual credibility too.

I am glad you are debating the point, because only through debate do we start to see all the facts and repercussions, or can we develop potentially even better ways to approach things. We just have different opinions on this one, and that is ok.

There would literally be no point in small countries having youth schools.

The point is to have own country players. I can't understand someone closing schools just they can buy only "possible" future NT players. Really, is stupid think so.

Notionalise is only a little push for smaller countries, nothing else.
