And salvage retired player data, if possible, so we can add some of them to the HoF.

Just create a Hall of Fame' topic , copy and paste skills for nostalgia, and that all work... we really need a new "feature" for this? :) Maybe the ability to put our old players in our training staff, for nothing, just for posterity.

I have several players in my squad waiting for this to be implemented so +1 from here.

Assuming that such list would show only players after implementation od this functionality, it would be great to have option to select players that we want to add to it. By default player shall not be added to list. Otherwise after a long period, you will have an issue with loading page as its is currently for transfer page on some of teams.
Some kind od solution would be adding pages with some fixed/adjustable number od visible players.

Good point! Not for nothing, their experience could make them a good trainer: an unearthly experienced player could become an unearthly trainer!

Here’s how this should go in my opinion. As said, I’ve been ”collecting” old players in my team for years. Mainly Karsten Dream Team legends but I also bought Hannu Ala-Aho, one of the biggest legends ever in sokker just to save him from disappearing. So I’ve hoped for Hall of Fame to come reality and this is my proposal:

You could promote one player per season in your club’s Hall of Fame. This could be for instance on week 0, when there’s only the 1st round of national cup.

Hall of Fame could be found when you go to your player’s page: Main team, Junior team, Hall of Fame. When you add a player in the HoF there would also be a notification in your league’s first page, just like after buying a player or a youth signing a contract.

In the Hall of Fame page you would see the list of players, their current age and their career stats (both club and NT). You wouldn’t need to pay salary for players in Hall of Fame but can’t on the other hand use them as players anymore. They are just there as part of your club’s history.

Requirements to be able to promote a player in your club’s HoF:
- At least 35 years old
- Not a current member of national team
- At least 10 seasons in your club or your own youth pull and at least one season in your club since buying him back
- The last requirement to prevent users buying other teams’ potential Hall of famers and putting them in their own HoF to piss the other user off

I’d limit the amount of Hall of Famers to one per season, to make it a special thing. If it would be on week 0, it could give a small boost on the cup game’s attendance, as for instance in ice hockey they have a seremony before the game where they lift the shirt to the roof of the icehall and lot of specatotrs come to tribute the career of the legend.

This is something I really would like implemented. Would be fun to see other teams’ Hall of Fame-pages also, as I still remember many of the best players of my opponents by name, even after years but they have disappeared in the ”bit space” so you can’t for instance check how many assists did Rauli Manner get during his NT career or how many goals did Heikki Starkki score in his club team. And would be nice to get rid of the excess amount of elderly people in my players list and put them where they belong. In the history books. :)
