Subject: [idea] Europa League

As a member of the CONCACAF zone and a 10-year-old user in sokker Panama, I would like to compete with active users in my zone and if there could be a tournament in general that unites the 2 CONCACAF zones and CONMEBOL.

The idea is interesting but it would involve few users in top divisions. In my opinion, the game developers should focus on things that impact a wider population of users, so, this idea is good but should be put on hold till some other adjustment are made.

NT tournaments are different since those involve everyone attention.

i highly disagree ultimate goal for anyone should be those tournaments and as many they are better .
Though with 2 games for championship chosen this will probably will not be a focus :(

ultimate goal may be, but the Champions league, Europa League, Copa Libertadores, Concachampions, etc. are played by first division teams... here we have 8 teams per top division, that is a really small part of the sk users, and not everyone would get to play these tournaments...

My point is: there are more important things to do on the game which would have direct and immediate impact on the game for everyone, and it wouldn't be just an aspiration for most of us.

to those 8 spots in each division will activate 4 or 5 teams more to compete much better will make people to want to promote and climb in divisions so it will affect much more than you think

It doesn't mean it is reachable for everyone though... How many teams from Colombia have take part in the Champions League tournament? as I said, I like it, it is a lovely idea, but I do think there are more important things to do now.

like getting rid of flash, like getting rid of bugs, like not collapsing the site daily at update time, like improving the communication feature like the forums, like improving the trading system, like improving the storytelling inside the game, and so on.

Yes, it is incredible at to this point that the regional NT cups are not official in NT calendar, even this season we will play "officially" the XIV edition organized by ourselves the managers of America.

The same for club competition, In America (from Canada to Argentina), we need 2 cups, with group stage before of direct elimination to play several games, involve more users and encourage them, for example, to achieve 4th place in their league for participate,

The current CC is certainly not relevant for the majority of those who participate and it is a good time to reform these formats,

Let me give my thoughts on this.
I like Terrions suggestion from the 1st page.
I want there to some elite competitions. But CC is not good, you have bots there every season. Also some regions are more developed than others, so having only one competition is bad.
So, this is what I would like to see.


Champions League

The most elite competition.
It would have a group stage, but only 32 teams (from the whole world).
Some teams would qualify directly, while some would play qualifiers instead of warm-up matches:
- 16 (top 16 nations) - qualify directly
- 16 (17th-32nd nation) - need to win 1 game
- 32 (33rd-64th nation) - need to win 2 games (winners play vs nations from 17 to 32)
This would reach top 64 nations. Formula can be different to reach more.


Continental Cups

Various number of participants (max. 128, Europe).
Teams that fail to qualify to CL would participate in Continentals.
No group stage.
Continent exclusivity. This would spare many users from playing vs Europeans.


International Junior Leagues

Now, this is where all user could play internationally.
Half of users don't even play with juniors.
Junior leagues are a mess.
All those users who don't have a strong team can, with some luck, have a strong junior team, so it makes more sense to give everyone a direct chance here.

well only thing i do not like is International Junior Leagues

junior competitions without knowing skills of players is kinda total random. i would suggest instead of that u21 teams from main squad that will give options for training youngsters (i think @jezo mentioned that in the past)

There are no bots in junior leagues so you get some ridiculous tables:
Bosnian 3rd league has 2 teams.
All teams from 3rd Bulgarian league will get promoted.
Moroccan 1st and 2nd league have 1 team each.
Australian 2nd league has 3 teams.
List goes on...

I think that grouping everyone together would make it better. Also, this can't negatively affect the league because it doesn't use seniors.

View this as a solution to fix youth competitions.

Juniors teams have a great potential. Just make the pitch smaller so that the low skills become more useful and thus we'll have funny matches to watch.

Also, don't waste the first team pitch grass. Use another stadium. This way more people will play the juniors league.
