of course .. you right but do not forget .... messi, salah, mane cross too penalty area and want to score and crossing is better from right side to left for left footed.... First touch have with dominate foot.

and right def vs messi in right side ..... def have right footed and it is his dominate side .... and messi in right side make better cross from rght to left and def have problem, becasue messi cross him in left side and it is weakness for right footed.

and winger is centering from wing position to area is better right side for right footed

Well for the game L/R foots and sides to simplify the engine. But in case of 'Messi', 'salah' ... it could be L+R foots and sides (skill) bonus

but if right, left foot work like weight, height and BMI????

Well i just expect some skills +1 bonus/malus when a player is on his good/bad side :-)

weight height is 'a joke' in the engine so i expect a real influence with foots/sides but as well we need a "fix" too and a real influence on pace (BMI) and 'head pass/shooot' (height) :-)

I didn't say they were my top 3. They were the only 3 who immediately sprang to mind.

I just assume that 1 and 2 are Messi and Ronaldo (even though he's starting to get a bit old) in whichever order.
Mbappe is likely up there but he seems to play on right and is right footed so wasn't much good for my example ;-)

I guess I could have included Neymar as I think he's right footed (but given how good his left foot is I'm not so sure!) but generally plays on the left.

You could also have Arjen Robben who is totally left footed but no matter where you put him in the line-up, he goes as right winger and always cuts to the middle instead of crossing and always shoots despite both of the strikers were wide open. ;)

Would be great if these tactics can make a difference in games. Indeed, where to use left or right foor player.

For some countries is hard to find a decent wing with this and not enough slots for conditions will be even harder. and devs will not touch me any time soon . Nice as idea but not really practices imo

i am sure devs wont touch you any time soon xD

but still it would be nice to make preparations for implementing something like that...it would really add a lot of tactical diversity to the game....

maybe also if he play a lot of games players would get better with other leg...maybe training too...

a good idea indeed,i prefer foots,but anyway sides are almost the same

+1 only if its effects can be clearly seen in the 2D viewer. Don't repeat the mistake of height and weight

An old one but a good one. Search the bugs/ideas forum for "foot". IMO, should be on the list of changes when the devs get to the ME. There have been many, many upvotes for this over the years.

Awesome ideia, it would be awesome if iplemented along with the new engine that allows us to play with 2 or 3 center backs, a left back, a rigth back and of course two wingers or attacking midfielders (like every football team). In the current engine it's useless using a tatic with two wingers, the left back and right back are just center backs playing closer to the lines that you have to use to mark the adversary's winger.
