Subject: [change] Cheaper Plus
You give the answer yourself, managers have to start in their own country, but some exceptions can be made if someone really is living in a different country.
So just a few will get permission to start in a country with lower Plus prices.
Besides, when new managers start playing this game, most won't even know the price will be different in some African or Asian country when signing up for the Netherlands. Most will want to play in their own country. And most Dutch managers won't have problems paying 22 euro. Makes no sense to sign up in Algeria and not the Netherlands because Plus is just 1 pizza cheaper.

Leave it as it is...
I don't get it... 22€...for an entire year!
It's 1/3 of a new PS4 game, almost 1/4 of a full gaz tank for a car, the equivalent for 10 breads, and more importantly...
In comparison to hattrick, which...to be honest, isn't nearly as good as sokker AND has no 2D or 3D viewer it's almost the half of the cheapest supporter fee! 3.33€ each month or almost 40€ each year!
And the most expensive one is as much as sokker year fee for plus, But then EACH MONTH!!!
21.5€ each month! Insane!

What do you get for 22 euro when going to a very cheap holiday country?
For us it is cheap, not in countries people earn 10 times less as in our country. How can you say keep it like this knowing that we are rich in this world an to us 22 euro is nothing.
I don't understand people don't get this. 1 euro isn't the same value in each country. Even in Europe it isn't the same value, outside Europe this 1 euro becomes way more valuable in many countries.
Why should someone in a country earning way less as we do, pay (in comparison) 4 or 5 times as much for Sokker, or even more? If someone earns 200 euro a month, like everone else in that country, 22 euro isn't cheap anymore. It's a tenth of his/her salary that month.
It's 1/3 of a new PS4 game
Yes in our country. But I am 100% sure in India this same PS4 game won't cost 66 euro. Everything is cheaper in that country as money is worth less. I think you can buy many games for 22 euro in India instead of 1 single game.

Is that the reason why so many Idian people are rich?
People who can't affort that kind of money can't affort a device (with internet!) to play this game...I'm sure!

A laptop or pc will also be, for example, 10 times as cheap. Everthing is the same cheap compaired to us. A very basic laptop won't cost 750 euro in that country.
When understanding this concept, think everyrhing is 10 times as cheap as we are used to in a certain country, and the income is 10 times as low. Nothing will cost the same ammount of money we pay for the same kind of items.
We are the big spenders of this world, we live in the first world.
Something I was really supriced about, a 5 megapixel camera to put in an smartphone costs 45 cents in China! The moment it is an smartphone, we (the rich of this world) pay I don't even know how many times more. They make money in China and India seling the same stuff to them as to us, only we pay 10, 20 times as much? Because companies can ask that ammount of money because we can spend it. We are the cows of this world for companies, we are the big spenders they make enormous profits because we pay redicoules prices.

Then explain WHY 100x more "chinese" players pay supporter for hattrick when it's even double as expensive?
Because a group of the 1.4 billion people are doing (very) well in the capitalistic system, even better as in Europe. And in every country you have a group of poor people, a group of avarage income, and a group of rich people.
The % of these groups is very different in each countries.
And another large group of Chinese are living in Europe and US, and are living just the way as we do, same kind of income.
And looking at this statistic (2018), many that signed up in China are most probably living in 2 of the largest cities.
Beijing, 21.5 million people
Shanghai, 24.3 million people
2 cities, both have more inhabitants as the Netherlands as a (small) country, 17.3 million people.
China and India are 2 completely different countries, the one is doing very well in regions, the other not that well (yet). I looked it up what the avarage income is in India: $1670 per year (1543 euro). So 22 euro's is a about 1.5% of the avarage year income of someone in India. In the Netherlands 1543 euro is a low monthly income.
Looking at that income, we earn 12 times more in the Netherlands (without the 13th month) 1.5% of an income of 18500 euro per year, Plus would cost us about 277 euro per year!!
This is avarage in India, most probably people in cities will earn more. But still, even if it is 5000 per year, 22 euro to them is the same as 88 euro to us. Or the other way around, Plus should cost 5.5 euro with an income of 5000 per year.
Avarage income in Gambia, 3630 euro (50% of the people), Plus should cost 4.30 euro.

Ok, So we agree that sokker is cheap enough, but because of the % difference in lots of countries the fee should have a percentual equality of the current fee, meaning it should be 2€ for an Indian citizen...and not 277€ for us!!
*angry face* :-p

No, now you mix the 2 numbers, it is one of the other. When Plus stays at 22 euro for us, the prices in low income countries should drop.
If, with an income of 20,000 euro per year Plus is 22 euro, a country with an income of 5000 euro per year Plus should be 5,50 euro (4 times as low, as the income of that country is 4 times as low). That is fair and I'm pretty sure more Plus will be sold as prices will be the same % of what we pay from our salary for Plus.

I think best would be to make groups, and if some country falls in that group, Plus has to cost that ammount of money. Right ammount of money looking at % of yearly income.
For example, income per year:
± 2500 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 2.75 euro
± 5000 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 5.50 euro
± 7500 euro per year and higher- Plus price is 8.25 euro
± 10000 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 11.00 euro
etc.
± 20000 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 22.00 euro

± 10000 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 11.00 euro

could you give us some examples of online games, where is the system like the one you propose?
Not exactly....
There are countries with high yearly income but low costs of life
and there are countries with high yearly income and high costs of life.
PPP-Index is based on income and on costs for living, in other words PPP-Index is far more fair than yearly income as index.

Maybe the gouvernments should make work of a more equal wage system in stead of others adjusting their prices in favor of the dictators of those countries. It's always the smaller men who needs to pay in order for the super rich to stay super rich.
Slavista, there are no examples needed, but if you wish you can observe all best selling products worldwide: McDonalds, gazoline, alcohol, drugs, escort-services.... Everywhere the same products, but different price.
The thing that really matters is that thanks to computer technology, sokker has a big chance (a) to make big profit (marketing people know, that you can make biggest profit from the "poor"), (b) big chance to make the game more popular in "poor" countries (especialy by the fair-price-policy) and (c) chance to reach and have new users (because you can make a special marketing-campaign based on the fair-price-policy)

Btw there are rich people in poor countries and poor people in rich countries. How would this be a fair price policy for them?

Is also okay, if that makes it even more realistic.
Maybe even higher the prices a little, Plus price has been the same for 10+ years, never any inflation correction.
This system can still be used, based on your PPP-index:
± 2500 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 3.13 euro
± 5000 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 6.25 euro
± 7500 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 9.38 euro
± 10000 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 12.50 euro
etc.
± 20000 euro per year and higher - Plus price is 25.00 euro
