StefNihon to All
After having read a topic about stamina training, i wanted to discuss about Form "skill" to change his hazardous behaviour.

The idea is :
* Form raises x when playing 1 game
* Form decrease y when not playing a game
* Form decrease z when playing 2 or more games per week

The goal is to be able to control form level with game played or not.

What do you think of this ?

Have you got any other idea linked to form "skill" ?

And we could imagine to link Form to Injury.

Low form improves risk of injury and vice versa

+1 maybe even we should have control over it through training player raises skill bam +1 form

I had This topic made for that issue.
Though your proposition is slightly different, I will let this have it's own thread.
@StefNihon btw :-)

Sorry. I use search using "form" in title but nothing appeared... I tested again and see that i must misspell the word :-)

No problem. I know you didn't do that intentionally ;-)

But what do you think about it?

I read your idea. Well, i don't like the link between form and win/lose a game because imagine a team that lose all games 1-0 will become totally useless in few weeks (extreme case but)
Losing a game is already not good for finances, fans, position in league or elimination in cup, if form also have some impact. It will give too much gap between best teams unbeatable and average teams.

I don't want to control form :)

I think players should probably, in general, move towards a central point of form.
So basically there is a bell curve from very good.

And then the more players play or get trained (so are active in the team), it gives a slight bonus to form compared to where they would be if they didn't do anything (or maybe 1 "interaction" is taken as average to be within the bell curve, 0 interactions means they go slightly down from where they would be, and the more interactions they have each week, the higher above where they would have been, they are)

I like this idea , I've seen far too many players with form problems that take Far too long to raise up levels

I don't know if StefNihon's proposal is the best algorithm, but we need to control form in some way.

Never forget that hattrick actually introduced training form as a skill.
2020-05-10 20:57:03
Well I hope they'll never even concider that, cause that's totally unrealistic and foolish

I think the way the form is handled now is good. There should also be a random factor in this game. Otherwise the best players (who are used) always have good form. This is boring and the depth and height of the form must continue to give and should not be controllable to some extent.

Today you can influence the form, but you have to be patient.

Therefore I say here a no to all ideas which imply that the form can be controlled a little bit more than before.
