In NT groups, starting by the most important match (initial position by ranking) is always a pain :-)

I liked having the games between the two top teams in the first and last round. Having #1 vs #8 in the first round doesn't create much excitement for the start of a new season. The problem with the schedule was that teams from the bottom half had all 8 games against the top teams in a row in the middle of the season.

I think a better solution would be having #1 vs #2 in the first and last round and having the pairings for the rounds in between more randomly distributed, so you'd alternate between games against stronger and weaker opponents instead of having them all in a block. Maybe this can be considered with the change to 12 team leagues.

It's better if they keep the same order twice in stead of the reversed order in the second half of the season.

i think no matter what order will be picked there always will be few teams that will have some games in row away and home. At the end of the day all teams will have same amount of home any away so its not just big deal.
Despite this was accepted i do not think will be implemented before new changes so have to think about 10 teams fixtures already.

I prefer blocks.
It gives more interesting ends of seasons, top teams facing each other.
