The schedule will be similar as before, the teams from places 1 to 6 will face each other at the beginning and end of the season - at the same time the teams from places 7-12 will also compete directly. Mid-season, on the other hand, will be top-bottom clash times, and will be filled with matches between the higher seeded and the lower seeded teams."
Don't think it will be implemented this season. This topic is almost 2 years old...

Don't think it will be implemented this season. This topic is almost 2 years old...
the futur calendar is a joke, and a lack of respect of the teams places at 7-12 , marked as lower teams.
It's not really a lack of respect to the ''lower'' teams, but having to compete against 1 team, twice, in one week is not good.
Say one team has lost his keeper for 20 days due to injury in the last game before the double confrontation and in minute 1 of the first leg of the double confrontation he loses the 2nd keeper. Great... big disadvantage in the first match. But ok...that's a risk all teams have.
But then he chooses to buy a thirth keeper, because now, he has 2 GK with injuries!
And he buys a great superdivine keeper to be competitive! Yet on saturday...that keeper plays an NT / U21 match and got injured as well!
Then you have a team who has almost zero chances of winning their both legs against 1 team because of the same injuries of 1 week!
Devs have approved to change the order of matches, but apparently they forgot? about it...
This change is not a big, complex change, but a simple algoritm. And it's these things, small promises, not complied, that makes people angry.
There's something like credibility that needs to be fulfilled. Without that, it's hard to keep the faith, but nevertheless, I can be confident they still will / might / should change it! Cause there's the bug they need to fix (and that is a must!) for the U21 fixtures of Honduras f.e., cause playing 2 official matches on one day is not done.
And this algoritm is even smaller to adjust imo...

it seems that the info given is bad. But for my team ( i think , i'm not alone in this case) I start with two away games, so no income for a week, that is a handicap for the beginnig of the championship

the first cup match bring about 7350€, this is not a good income.
another problem, in U21, all weeks are scheduled by offical match exxcept week 8.
du to the report of yesterday match to week 2.
it is impossible to the coach to have a warmup match. that's creazy!

In addition to system 1vs8 1vs7 1vs6 1vs5 1vs4 1vs3 1vs2, what about idea to randomize league order at the start of new season.
In other words, if you finished first, you dont have to be nr 1 at start.
Now with two games per week, if im in top 4 teams what matter comes down in 2 weeks, where also if you have some nice young prospects they will remain on bench since its big game.
If this is randomized then you can at least have chance in one week to play against strong and medium team, so your players can play in other game, gaining that way better training.
It also more exciting i guess.
