And just to be clear to all this is not the main reason i want something like version 2 this is just example that a major part of the game can be ignored just to achieve target of less weeks.

Up.

As we know about lenght of season, it will be good to adjust NT schedule to it.

There is Sviktorov proposal, fitting 13 weeks of season, any other ideas?

So, we have 13 weeks? Week 0 to Week 12?

The biggest problem that we have is that we have 98 Countries. The divisors of 98 are: 1, 2, 7, 14, 49 and 98.

Furthermore, I think it's very good to have a world championship every other season. Otherwise the world championship wouldn't be a great thing and if it was held every season, the world championship would lose a certain prestige.

That's why I think the current system is good that in season X you have to qualify and then in season X+1 the world championship takes place. It would be great to create a kind of World Championship B (for example for all 3rd and 4th place finishers in the World Championship qualification.

+1 there are a hole after U21, and some players are loosen between the moment where he is in U21 and the moment when he has the age to play in NT (26-27 years Old).

I like the 3-seasons circle! Here a model of three seasons plan:

Season X

As you can see, there are 5 continental championships. I can show the assignment of a country to a continent in a separate list. As there is a different number of teams in each continent, the mode is different:

1) Europe: 48 teams

8 groups with 6 teams each: 10 round
After that, there are 8 group winners per group. In weeks 10 to 12, they will compete in a KO phase with quarter finals, semi finals and finals.

2) Africa and South America: 10 teams

2 groups with 5 teams each: 10 round
After that there are 2 group winners and 2 runners-up per group. They will compete in weeks 11 and 12 in the KO phase with semi-finals and finals.

3) North and Central America: 12 teams

2 groups with 6 teams each: 10 round
After that there are 2 group winners and 2 runners-up per group. They will compete in weeks 11 and 12 in the KO phase with semi-finals and finals.

4) Asia and Oceania: 18 teams
3 groups with 6 teams each: 10 round
After that there are 3 group winners per group and the best runner-up. You take part in the final round with semi-final and final (2 rounds)

In the end there are 5 continental champions. These will be drawn at the draw for the World Cup qualification in pot 1

Season X+1

It is probably no different when there are 98 nations. Only 96 nations can participate. The 97th and the 98th are excluded from participation (for example, would you be allowed to delete minus points in the ranking and the absolute number of points should be zero?)

If 96 nations participate, then the World Cup qualification we know would be feasible. There are 10 rounds of matches and in addition 3 friendly matches.

Distribution of the pots:

Pot 1: The 5 continental champions + top 11 teams
Pot 2: 17-32 Place
Pot 3: 33-48 Place
Pot 4: 49-64 Place
Pot 5: 65-80 Place
Pot 6: 81-96 Place

Season X+2

Here I suggest to organize 2 competitions, which do not require much effort and are easy to realize:

1) World Championship

Here I find it important that the best can play together. But the World Cup should guarantee a different mode and more than 3 games for the majority of the participants. Therefore I suggest the following:

1) Group stage I (3 rounds for 32 teams)
2) Groups phase II (3 rounds additionally for 16 teams)
3) KO phase (3 rounds for finalists, 2 rounds for semi-finalists, 1 round for quarter-finalists)

I think the World Cup is over too quickly after the preliminary round, so there should be more World Cup matches here, at least for a larger number of nations.

So this whole World Cup lasts 9 rounds and in addition there are 4 friendly matches

2) International League (consolation round league)

Here all remaining teams that could not travel at the World Cup will take part. That's 66 teams. This is important, because most of them will play against similarly strong teams)

The advantage of such a league is that you are in a competition and so you don't have to play so many friendly matches. I suggest to play 8 rounds and at the end the best 32 teams will participate in the KO phase. From this there can be up to 12 rounds. (You can also choose only the 16 best teams, then there will be one round less).

The draw is based on chance, but you don't play the same opponent twice. Since the home advantage in Sokker is not very big anyway, there is only one game without a return match. So a winner can be determined in the league.

-1 qualifiers by regions do not match sokker reality
why we will do something in 3 seasons if can fit in 2

I try to combine the proposals Continental and World Championship here. But yes, it would also only be possible with a two season cycle (without the Continental Championship from Season X).

Or do you mean that the winners of the Continental Championships should not come to Pot 1?

World Cup every 4 seasons.

-1 qualifiers by regions is not so good idea

As we can see actually on rankings, first African NT is placed 63-th in rankings. Is'nt the same for a middle european team(like Danmark or Spain) to qualify for WC playing all the time with Polska, Romania, Italy,Germany or those africain teams that have their "pole position" on 63-th place in the world rankings.
Also, don't forget, the NT is a place for better players of a country, so don't use NT-s for U27 systems.
That could be just optional, at invitation menu.
Too much litle users country does'nt have high valued young players. Please think about it twice.

My proposal does not provide for the World Cup participation to be regulated by region. In the first season there will be Continental Championships and as a reward they will only be allowed in Pot 1 at the World Cup qualifying. In the second season there will be qualification, actually as always and then the World Championship with a slightly different mode and an International League, which actually doesn't bring any reward.
