Subject: rules against excessive transfers

2020-05-29 13:11:05
i propose maximum 15 players to buy, 15 players to sell per season. some managers abuse of transfers (i believe they have a script and they buy automatically)

Thanks you for pointing up this possible script cheat.

Is it possible for the devs to run an investigation please ?

I have a list of suspects if you need.

You cannot fight a script when its done correctly.
The solution is to make rules against it.
As first and the easiest is to fix the bug where arcade games help you to sell the player.
Like this guy does: https://sokker.org/transfers_team/ID_team/17908

And if you have a list of suspects, don't be afraid to share it, maybe some of them will be ashamed of themselves when they will be exposed to public.

All these transfers (Most likely done by scripts) really hurts the future of the game.
There is no way for new managers to ever, have a realistic chance of entering the game and compete with ever increasing prices of players.

for me to bid is exhausting

I hope they evaluate if it is good to keep the current system

I disagree with more rules for market. For me, solving the bug problem is enough. Price hikes can be resolved by increasing supply. If it is to limit the amount of transfers, let it be a higher number (25 for example). I think 15 is too little (especially for new users).

And don't forget to penalize or ban the users who exploited the arcade bug as stated in the rules.
I have a list, this will save time to the mods.

GENERAL SOKKER RULES

As an user you are obligated to obey the following major rules. In the game it is forbidden:
(...)
- to use any encountered errors in Sokker to one's own needs (every traced bug should be reported to the admins)
(...)
Violations of these rules of Sokker, including the major rules above and breaking the registration rules above (such as attempted registrations for multiple teams), will be punished with penalties up to removing the user from the game.

I really would like to see that!

In Serie A also I guess they would like to see that.
2020-05-29 17:46:18
You have a great example of that in French league too:

Not sure drogba team is using the arcade matches to buy/sell quicker frankly but I cannot open the transfer page to check in details :)

The worst so far for me are :

I've encountered one of those teams (https://sokker.org/team/teamID/77854) in several bidding wars and it's utterly frustrating because it just inflates the prices for the smaller teams like mine.

Happy to see I am not the only one to be worried about these cheaters.

Just hope the devs or mods will have a look to penalize them...
2020-05-31 11:45:46
I've had many times when this team runs up player prices too . If I bid and he appears I instantly give up on a player

Actually you shouldn't give up because they try to buy at low price and resell with a higher starting price.

Make them bid more and never buy from them, this is the rule I follow.

So these guys are cheating, ruining the others users experience and they are still around.

Could we maybe just ban them and have a healthy game environment ?
