Does promoting have any influence in the ranking, with the current system?
No and yes. No, because there are no extra points, yes because one needs to make wins to promote.
However, mathematically it is possible to promote and have less points than before promoting.


But how accurate are they?
I check them very often after the games of the German U21 and I can assure you that they are correct. (divergence is less than 0,99 at final result)
There are only mistakes in the higher scores (4:0, 5:0, 6:0 etc.) - the score bonus is higher than in the post I found in the forum and I am now trying to achieve big victories with the German u21 to correct it.

How do they know that?
It's simple mathematics...

I'm sure, if you bluntly asked this exact question through mail to all users, over 90% will fail to give the correct answer (unless math geniusses are all represented within sokker, and I'm an exception :-D)

I made a table with that numbers 14 years ago:

1-0: 29.29, 2-1: 24.16, 3-2: 19.54, 4-3: 16.79, 5-4: 14.93
2-0: 37.59, 3-1: 36.09, 4-2: 32.02
3-0: 44.57, 4-1: 42.14, 6-3: 36.93
4-0: 50.40, 5-1: 45.58
5-0: 52.67

I just calculated my 11-0 of this week and it's 54,24
