Charles Hill to All
In the Netherland we have many Dutch players with names from Suriname, the Antillen, Morocco and Turkey. But the correct name combinations can't be made with the dutch name database. Suriname and Antillen is somewhat correct with Dutch combinations, but Dutch + Moroccan or Turkish really don't mix.

'Khalid de Vries' or 'Rachid Janssen', and the other way around like 'Kees El Idrissi' or 'Piet Özer' is really really silly. Maybe in 50 years it is a bit more normal, but at the moment names like these make no sense at all.

So unfortunately we have deleted alsmost all of the Moroccon and Turkish names from the Dutch name database, while we have these players in rl in the Dutch national team. But now that Sokker is changing a lot of things, new chances for the use of name database!!! :D

It would be great if in the Netherlands about 1 in 10 names comes fully from the Moroccan name database (10% chance) and about 1 in 20 from Suriname, Antillian and Turkish name database (5% chance), or all 5%. But these players will have the Dutch nationality, born and raised in the Netherlands.

I think more countries have this probem with players with different roots in a country, but unable to make the right combinations with name database

(This idea is only to get correct foreign names in your junior school. So this idea is really different from the idea of helping small(er) countries by introducing an X procent chance of foreign scouted players in junior schools: https://sokker.org/forum_topic/ID_forum/63355/ID_topic/3438798/pg/11 !!)

France will have the same problem with (North) African names, UK with Indian names, the US with Spanish names, Canada with French names (?), South Africa with all kind of names, etc.

To make correct combinations of names, in a number of countries there should be a link to tribe databases with first names and surnames.
