Subject: [idea] Possibility of influencing a player's weight

Alienomo to All
Hello everyone, all over the world.
In the last few years new elements have been introduced into the game: height, weight and BMI.
Correct me if I'm wrong... only I don't want opinions, but certain answers from the DEVs or someone who can speak for them:
1) height is active and whoever is taller tends to win air contrasts;
2) the BMI is active and I know that if it is around 23,75 it is perfect, but I would like to have more explanations about it;
3) the weight remains invariable over time and therefore it is not active.
Is it correct?

So...
It is about this last point that I would like to talk about.
It would be nice if the weight could change weekly (not so much), obviously also affecting the BMI.
In my idea a sokker player has a dancing weight (like Form, for understand) and, when the BMI goes too far away from the ideal value, one can decide to train the player in Stamina and based also on the skill of the coach the value of the BMI tends to converge towards 23.75.
Of course, all this would make sense if the BMI would somehow affect the game, otherwise a Stamina training would be a useless waste.
Let me know what you think, thanks!

As far as i know height has little to no influence on heads. I've seen small players dominate the heads of much taller ones, and so many times that i can't trust this. Maybe because skills have much more influence for heads.

For BMI, the ball flow seems to me more fluid (dribbling) I think it could influence ball control (the player dont push too far the ball) but im really not sure about this.

Weight remains invariable, or could change, whatever, the actual BMI and height influence re already un clear on the field and i never seen any XP coach focus on BMI weights and heights, only skills and sub kills (form, xp ...). And we can take a look on high prices transfers : who cares about BMI ? Not to say that BMI should directly influence pace, its make no sense and its funny to see ultimate pace with very high BMI :)

I think a tall player against a short one fighting for an aerial ball should have the same result as a tragic technique player against a superdivine defender player, and that's not the case. That's why we don't pay attention to BMI, becasue we can't see their effect in the most clear cases, unless we make some kind of statistic maybe

1) height
It depends on tactics. So if a manager knows how to get advantage of his tall players, then he can do as the spanish U21 coach did last Friday. Small player can also be in advantage, because of acceleration.

2) BMI
I remember a Champions Cup winner commenting about BMI. I think this was a key fact for his success.

3) weight
I have no idea, if it is active or not. However it impacts BMI and BMI is active.

4) About your proposal to BMI and stamina:
I understand the logic and I like to see weight (and BMI) changing.
However stamina has a different impact than BMI and like in RL a player can have a perfect BMI, but no stamina (and his show can run only for 20-30 minutes...).
Or a player can have enough stamina, to play 90 minutes, but high or low BMI, like in RL.

You are a gold mine :)

I would like to know how did the Spanish coach use tall players to his advantage?
I don't understand, I went to the report, expecting to see a wing, but he didn't use that.

Every time I would get a very tall or short player I would pay close attention to them. I noticed that tall players were losing a lot of aerial duels, and that short players were winning a lot. Now, I would say that height isn't a factor, but knowing how random this game is, it might be a factor but the crazy randoms make it pretty much meaningless.

Oriol Cabrerizo , age 21
value: 555 000 €
wage: 6 650 €
excellent form
height: 195 cm, weight: 87 kg,
BMI: 22.87

He scored two goals winning the aerial duel to his opponent, which was just a little shorter than him (185cm or so)

But he lost his 1st duel against a much shorter opponent:

Boris Gatzemeier , age 21
value: 791 000 €
wage: 7 550 €
unearthly form
height: 173 cm, weight: 68.5 kg,
BMI: 22.87

I guess it just was luck. What I've observed is that better players usually win duels against worse players. When you play a bot you see it easily. Maybe pace should be a factor, or more accurately, the first one to arrive to the place where the ball is able to be hit, wins the position. But not the only one

Perhaps the tall player was effective because of long passes and good passing skill. Perhaps... I don't know.

it clearly observable that when u play vs a lower rating team you win most of the heads duel whatever are the heights or BMi of both teams.
