+1
I think t is a very good idea. I would just suggest , that advantage should be affected by the percentage of bought tickets.
Full stadium = full advantage,
empty stadium = no advantage.

I'm not a fan of the home field advantage, but if it is implemented, I like your idea behind it (being linked with stadium fullness), or even supporter mood changing the %.
The +1 form to each player is also a decent idea, or maybe -1 form for the away team.
I look forward to seeing what other ideas people come up with for this.

10% is too much. IRL some teams are better away home.
I'm not sure about this idea...

If you want to implement something like this you'll need a lot of parameters to take into acount:
- Home team Overall reputation (E.g. % of points last 10 games)
- Home team Home reputation (E.g. % of points last 5 home games)
- Away team Overall reputation (E.g. % of points last 10 games)
- Away team Away reputation (E.g. % of points last 5 away games)
- Home crowd attendance
- Away crowd attendance
- N° of subscribers
- Type of match (derby?)

Dude look stats..... it is around 50 home wins, 20 draw, 30 away in total... :) In real life, sometimes home advantage is 20-25% (and according to stats maybe even bigger)
This is not always the case...there are some exceptions depending of season. Check It.
But in history of the clubs it's true the general rule is that.
I like jeetn idea.

On the first sight it seems a good idea: a simple way to make the matches more realistic
However there's an awful side effect: national and champions cup. The home team would have a big advantage and there won't be a way to compensate it (rather than league, where there are home and away matches)

You are absolutely right. I totally forgot about that.
But that raises the question of the adjustable pitch size. It's an advantage for the home team.

agree, only league matches.
And advantage should be 5% or less.

Well... there is!
Cup matches are always 50/50 split income, right?
So just have cupmatches held on neutral ground
OR
Have the home advantage at first based on the difference in home and away crowd in percentage[ no, not from the tv-show]

i do not like it changing pitch size is already good enough advantage -1
Unfair. It's more like a "tradition" the teams to respect more the opponent when plays away than "the team literally plays better home". In cases the team is good enough to control the match even in a classic match that respect doesn't exist. And we already have the random factors that make we choose to play more defensive even against a slight worse team than ours, the player's form, the injuries, the field size...
