Subject: Intercontinental cup

I really think that now we get more matches a week, there should be more then just a little addon (4-5 teams instead of 1-2 entering intercontinental), and simply include all top 40 in all nations to particapate in international tourney.... also both CC and this, could easily be a group of 4 before knockout round, when it is so widen out, who can achieve extra matches/revenue/training.... :)

The thread about an extra cup is all wrong..... we need to have these for majority of competitive teams... :)



(top 8 teams for countries with less then 20 users, top 20 teams for countries with less then 50 users i.e.)

It would also give the small nations a boost in something to play for, which some of them lack.

I would personally prefer an International league where every team in sokker is a part of it, and the sponsorship etc. is tied to it.

It would mean you can truly see how good you can become in the game, without limitations based on country you are in. It would also mean you have an international and national competition which is the best of both worlds.

A national and international for ALL teams would be nice too... :) My point is, it shouldnt be only for top leagues with international :)

Why for the few and not for all??

There are definitely a lot of games per week if another is added, but it would be a more fun competition as everyone in your league would be of a similar level (whether you are trying or not).

It should definitely be for all, because we need to make sure everyone has at least one competition which is exciting. If it's just a cup, then 50% users have just one fun week

such competitions do not give any sense for me like flow b of euro championship juts will give more injuries and cards

Interesting. I'd love to test myself against the rest of the world and see where I stand on an equal playing field.

Then I can know, in the world I'm able to compete at a div 3 level between ratings and tactics, or I can beat all the teams from Singapore, but am at about number 300 in Poland etc.

The cups don't mean a lot to me because teams aren't on an equal playing field, and 75% of teams are out after week 2 anyway

One thing I love about manager games in general is there are often different ways to play or run a team, and that everyone has different interests within the game. It would be a good way to have everyone interested. Plus teams even worse off than Aus, those with less than 8 users (probably on 2 or 3 active in forum), would have more to play for and more reason to stay in the game.

We saw in another thread the Indian user who has been playing for over 6 months, and plays his first human controlled team this week (and that's not even an active human controlled team). With the International league, it still may take 6months in his national league, but at least he would hit human international users much quicker in that system
