Subject: [IDEA] Change all currencies to 1 Sokker currency

The idea is to change all different currencies around the world into 1 Sokker currency, no more euro, dollar, yen, etc. Easy for all managers, everyone will be using the same Sokker currency, which makes it very easy to negotiate.

So change the currency into 1 Sokker currency so everyone has the same currency on their Sokker page. Everything that has something to do with money should be the same. for everyone. And use a new symbol for Sokker currency, for eample Ƶ, Ł, or ഗ.

Or use some S from some free font site, there are many nice letters S.


Letter S from internet as an example, can be done with all letters.

And give the currency a good name, something new. Maybe something else as S (use google translate and translate to latin for example, words like coin, currency, money, pay, etc, and the first letter could also become the new currency letter)
coin = nummum
coins = denarios
money = pecunia
wage = merces
gold = aurum
etc

Can also be combined with Sokker, like SokkerNum (SN), use your imagination :) Think not only outside the box, there is NO box in a fictional game!


EDIT: I expect some managers will be against this idea because of some nationalistic feeling, but it is Sokker, all is completely fictional.

I like it, not a big issue though.

Currency with a link to Sokker, Afrikaans for soccer:

Sent could be used as currency, is Afrikaans for cent and that is money. As Sokker is also Afrikaans for soccer, the currency could be Sent.

Also words in Afrikaans that could be used for currency:
coin = Munt
coins = Munte
wage = Loon
etc.

And the last idea for Sokker currency for now, a Thaler or in Afrikaans a Daler. A Thaler or Daler was a large silver coin.

There are all kind of different letters/symbols for D: Ð, ð, Đ, đ, Ɖ, ɖ, ꝱ
And also for the letters/symbols T: Ŧ, ŧ, Ⱦ, ⱦ, ꝷ

If you want to know how to pronounce Thaler or Daler, search youtube for 'how to say Thaler' and 'how to say Daler'. I think Daler is much easier.

The currency could just be called "Coins"...

I was thinking the same. But the name 'coins' is already used in Sokker to buy parts of Plus instead of full Plus,

So it has to be something different. Coin in a different language or not coin at all.

Personally I think Daler is a nice name (and can have a symbol Đ or đ or ð, or some other D from some font). And for as far as I know this word is used for nothing else, no cryptocurrency or what so ever.

Or Denario (without the s) or Denar (without the ios), just to make it a bit different from Latin word for coins. But I prefer Daler, also because of the link with the Afrikaans word Sokker :)

And besides the reversed capitol Я there is the small reversed ɿ, but also the Ꞧ and ꞧ, and many letters R in different styles (never knew this, link http://www.sayitright.org/R_Phonetic_Consistency.html)
