Subject: [Idea] NT Players don't need to play!

DiBaciu to All
I have seen that a lot of small nations have problems finding decent national players because the players coming from smaller countries are below average and nobody wants to train them, so I think it would be a good idea that players that belong to a national team (contracted to a NT), receive 100 % (75%) traning EVEN IF THEY DON'T PLAY for their national team or club . I know this is controversial and people will say that teams that have NT players will be able to train a lot more players than other teams. Don't forget salaries need to be paid too! On top of this, this could apply only to players under 21 y.o.a., plus the number of maximum players allowed in a team, club, could be set up to 30 (?) , so you could have a maximum of 8 NT youth prospects training in your team, on top of the 22 regular players, or it could be automatically be restricted to 3, or 5...whatever! This way young players would be able to grow without clubs needing to sacrify their training to train young (often weak) NT prospects .
I hope I have managed to make my self understood!
Have a nice day!

I disagree that there's a coach which has the freedom and oportunity to choose those players as U21 NT players, cause then the players coaches are getting benefits over the weaker (less rich) teams cause they could affort to pay for better youth players which would be selected for NT...
If there should be a training system for younger players, then ALL U21 players should get free training without playing matches!
But this would mean a completely new and adjusted training system for ALL players as well...

So -1 for me.

If small nations need to find decent, we could simply increase the skills of young players globally.

That's the problem at the base : for most of clubs, in big or small nations, 95% of youngs players are basically worthless.

Wasn't I saying exactly this?! :-0

No, you implied only youngsters who are within a U21 NT!
I just mean ALL players with a maximum age of 21, regardless of them being a member of the U21 NT squad or not.

Oh... :-)))
Even better! :-p
But the number of trained U21 players should be limited!
In the "set-up lineup" inteface, where the players that play the upcoming game are selected, there could be introduced 3 extra spots, after the main 11 and after the reserves, that have the same effect when it comes to traning just like the main 11, but if you select players over 21 into this particular 3 spots they don't train. Or there could be introduced some coding that shows O21 players selected into the U21 spots in red colour ,just like in the case of red cards, and the effect would be the same like in the case of red cards, no traning!
Then the maximum number of trained U21 players would be restricted to 6! ... otherwise we would have people keeping 147 young players in their squads :-))
Arrivederci!
