Nope

Take a senior team.... you need 13-14 players....... lets say age 21 to 35....... that means you should maximum pull one reasonable player a season, otherwise the market will be flooded, and even stars sold for pennies.

The market has fine balance, you can buy trainees at 1k-400k euro that can become good players and sold for 5m+ at senior level, and stars have a consistent price.

The market has nearly not changed for the past 5-10 real life years, except goalies a bit down and outfield players a bit up, but it has way more to do with accumalted wealth then level of juniors.

Everybody wants 2-3 players a season to pull that can become something, but that is not possible compared to how many players is needed, if to complain about anything regarding youths, it is how random that somebody can pull mega star after another and others only decent players.

The devs even said that the number of divine senior players was too high.........as it is now, every team in top tier league in top 25 nation ave divine gk, double divine defenders and triple divine strikers...... as it is now..... what differences top teams and 65 teams, is only midfield players and secondary skills....

That’s a basic count. But ok, let's accept it.

For users that manage a y.s for years it’s clear that ‘one reasonable player a season’ it’s never happen. it could happen with luck in a short term but never in long term.

It is also as clear as the sale of a single excellent junior which makes a junior school profitable for 4-5 seasons, the sale of the others (95% of the outings) brings peanuts in financial balance.

And let’s admit we can all keep reasonable juniors. They need to play (and being train) in senior B team at least, for 3 seasons at least, to finally to join a ‘reasonable’ senior team.

We are very far from your renew calculation.

This brings us to a strange situation: why it seems there are 'too many' top players when in fact the junior school creates very few over time to renew?

The reason is obvious: Good juniors goes to top clubs, or at least the richest ones. No matter if there are less or more top juniors, there will always be enough player for a minority of teams. It makes no difference to those teams.

Which almost brings us back to the original diBaciu question, which I'll rephrase: what would happen if the vast majority of teams stopped working for a minority of clubs (stop training young and open young school) ? A catastrophe: this time the rich clubs would see how financially difficult it is to buy reasonable players and progress in that game to reach the top :-)

(Note that we can also exclude de high frequency trading transfer strategy : It is much more difficult to rely on this strategy because of the recent (good) trading reforms and the lack of players on the market)

+1
100 points!

But it s a needless question.
90% of the managers have a youth school. And they don t have any reason to shut it down, with a few exceptions. It basically what keeps this game alive. Sokker is much more likely to being pulled off the net, than this would happen...

It is a hypothetical exercise in an utopic situation...

It's like waiting till the animals start giving speeches about the wellfare of the dinosaurs, back in the days :-p

:-)) So extrem is not!... it's a bit similar to global warming, nobody believed in global warming 20 years ago... but here we are, the end of life on Planet Earth has begun!
"Impossible is nothing!" ...how Confucius use to say :-)))

''nobody believed'' is not correct.
''Nobody cared'' is better...

Here it's: '' I'm 100% positive it's not...'' :-p

You are 1000% right!
A lot of people still don't care!
Humans are the worst PARASITE this Planet has ever known!
All religions preach LOVE but all People keep on building WEAPONS!
The worst defect that Humans have is EGOISM!
... anyway, I still think that the Youth Academy , youth training system needs an improvement... what, as I understand, will be the case in the near future! I really hold my breath and hope this great game will be reborn!
All the best to you all!
2021-10-09 00:56:57
It won't be reborn cause it still exists.
But it will evolve, that's a certainty :-)
2021-10-09 03:28:48
Mein Gott!!!... :-)))
Metaphorically! At some point, as I understand from the forums I read, the game was close to closing down shop! But due to the changes that were announced a lot of people got re ignited! That is a reborn, to me, from a clinical death, let's say! But the main reason is that I haven't lost much (apart from game money and traning) in the 6 years that I have been away and that I will witness the new sokker !
Go sokker! Yippee!
