Subject: Conditional orders
- 1
Yesterday I played Cup game and sat 4-4-2 diamond formation. My idea was to remove the attacking midfielder (position 9) to the right-wing position (position 8) and then make a substitution. I wanted to sub on another attacking midfield player and sub off a player who previously played at the wing. So I decided to change positions first and then make a substitution 5 minutes later. My conditional orders section was like this:
60' always
Selvedin Jašarspahić on position 8
65' always
Nadir Palunko on position 9
I was surprised when my „new“ right-wing (Selvedin Jašarspahić) left the pitch to be replaced.
This thing makes no sense. My attacking midfielder was not the player with number 9, he was a player who started a game on position 9. When I switch him with another player, he shouldn't be on position 9 anymore, he should be on position 8. But somehow he was still a number 9 player and he came off the pitch.
Conditional orders are so confusing and illogical now. It's not the first time I experienced a similar thing. That's a reason why I rarely use this option. It would be better if we could specify the player who we want to sub off. Another solution is to assign them new numbers every time we made the position change, but the first one is better in my opinion.

Dude, lesson learned.
When you change a player from position 9 to position 8 like you did, the guy from position 9 is still the number 9... the thing with Sokker is: you don't just assign the positions, but also the shirt number (1 to 11).
But yes, in general I think we can't count on all those conditions, specially if you want to combine them. If you want to change tatics as well, it is a mess. Sometimes it just did not work as it was supposed to with my team.

Players keep their numbers at start, always.
It’s like a number on the Jersey, not a position. Just think like that.
So the 1st order is correct, the guy with Jersey 9 goes to position of the guy Jersey 8
Then you have to sub the guy with Jersey 8 (which is on the position of the guy Jersey 9)
So 60' always
Nadir Palunko on position 8. It’s work, even at the same times of your first order.

What I feel there should be added to the orders is if you want a substitution or a conditional order!
When you have a substitution planned for player a to replace player d, but earlier in the game, cause of injury, your player a had to replace player c, he still goes to player d at the time of the planned changes.
This is something that could be avoided when defining the nature of the order.
Also, when you ask for a change in minute 60 with the condition ''drawing or losing'' and on minute 60 you're winning, but you concede a goal in minute 61, the change does not apply.
I think it should! Just as you give the condition from minute 1. Only here the ME goes to look to the condition for the entire game.

And What if it’s a draw at 60’ and you score at 61? The change should apply? :-D
There are no good orders until you can chain and evaluate many conditions. Sokkker is « too much » basic. But I prefer that sokker add more free order slots to repeat simple stupid orders than a complex system/UI. In your case:
60 ''drawing or losing'' Do …
65 drawing or losing Do the same thing.
That’s how we deal until now.
But yes it should be great if we can choose the time condition too. Start at 60’ or At 60’ only…

New ideas:
1. Add a "draw" condition to the list of possible conditions. Now we have only "drawing or losing", "draw or winning" and "drawing, dominating match", "drawing, opponent dominating match" and we have to combine 2 different conditions for one action.
2. Add "opponent have red card or missing player" condition. I don't need to explain this.
3. Why do we have only 4 slots for change of tactics? In my opinion, there shouldn't be any restrictions, but if we have, a limit should be higher. Also, I think there should be another additional tactic so we can have a basic tactic which is neutral, and additional defensive and attacking tactics.
4. When we set tactical change, why are we supposed to wait for the game to be stopped to reshape a team? Less than a month ago I played a game where I set a tactical change at 70', but the first time when the game was stopped was at 89'. My team scored a goal from a first and only action for a 1:1 draw and we would score more if the change happened at the time. It would be great if we could implement tactical changes immediately or if we could force players to kick the ball off.
