Beyond skill level (and relativism) there is a scale between the amount of top rare, few good-enough, and massive unskilled juniors; and this scale is huge.

It's ok that rare stay rare, even more rare maybe, but the average juniors level in/out is really poor.

Absurd toss every weeks (16-18y level tragic week 3 for example) and a massive market of 1€ youngers every weeks. At least, constraining randomness to a minimum, please :-)

Fact is that there's too much juniors with high(er) general level coming out of the junior school, being completely useless cause of ridiculous low pace / technique levels!
This one came out of the youth in Belgium today!
He was Brilliant...

Ilias Rebry, leeftijd: 20
club: HO Veltem, land: België
waarde : 130 000 €
salaris: 1 725 €
zeer goed [9] vorm
tragisch [0] tactisch inzicht
lengte: 169 cm, gewicht: 70.3 kg, BMI: 24.61

redelijk [6] conditie hopeloos [1] keepen
hopeloos [1] snelheid zeer goed [9] verdedigen
tragisch [0] techniek zwak [4] spelinzicht
solide [8] passen uitstekend [10] scoren

These skill distributions should be prevented!
If you pull a weak player, you can expect him to be practically useless.
But this...
Imo a player with these pace and tech levels IS useless and thus never brilliant!

Players from the level of excellent and above should have at least a decent level of a particular position skill combo.

Maybe a junior tending to striker should have at least 50% skill distribution for pace - technique and striker
A junior tending to GK should have 75% skill distribution to keeper - pace and passing
A junior tending to defender should have at least 50% skill distribution to pace - def and playmaker
A junior tending to midfielder should have at least 80% skill distribution to pace - technique - passing - defender and playmaker

Also, each of these skills should have a minimum level of at least 15% of the total skill sum
So, if the skillsum = 40, the minimum of these skills should be average [5]

The same skill distribution is possible for 17 or 18y olds...
The point is that this kind of skill distribution doesn't make any sence and should be prevented.

The point is the average amount of decent juniors should be around 1 per season .... is it more fun to only pull 1 and he is good... or to pull 40 on 4 seasons and 4 is good..... what would be the point of the junior school if it was so easy and predictable.... training in team is already that

It shouldn't be easy and predictable, but at least, make sure that IF you have a decent player, that his skill distribution isn't completely wrecked to worthless.

Every junior must have a decent pace level! It's my opinion ofc :).

An outstanding [12] junior like this:

poor [3] stamina tragic [0] keeper
average [5] pace poor [3] defender
good [7] technique solid [8] playmaker
good [7] passing good [7] striker

Could be like that:

poor [3] stamina tragic [0] keeper
outstanding [12] pace poor [3] defender
average [5] technique adequate [6] playmaker
weak [4] passing good [7] striker

Much better! This player still sucks on the pitch, but it's more realistic and it's easier to use faster players.
