Subject: [IDEA] New idea for regrowing small nations
Yes, since the rules explicitely forbit the use of VPN.
Maybe the game can benefit from an automated system in which transfers are technically impossible to do when you use a VPN or share an IP with other people.

I'm not talking about transfers at this moment, I'm talking about past transfers or future ones when we are not in the same place. An automated system - it can even punish people who don't know each other and happened to be on vacation together and used the same network.
That's why I spoke about an automated system to block transfers, not ban teams...
Yes, since the rules explicitely forbit the use of VPN.
That is not the case. The word “VPN” does not appear in the rules. Explicitly.
Shared IP = sharing same IP. Nothing else. And VPN can help to not sharing IP.
So, I assume that cheaters are banned when they forget to use VPN or sharing same IP / VPN....
I am almost certain that multiple accounts exist and it takes months or years to see them banned. Unfortunately.
Anyway. None of this should call into question the idea of having a “second team.” Cheating is entirely possible at present without even needing a second officially recognized team.

It's interesting how you make those claims, when you can check it in 10 seconds to see that you are wrong.
Yes, it does.
Internet connection
When applying to a new account you should use a normal Internet connection. Sokker disallows the use of any IP modifying or hiding tool (TOR, VPN) to access his site, and the unjustified use of those tools before registration would lead to the denial of the application and once you have registered it would lead to the closing of the account. In case you cannot avoid the use of a tool that hides your real IP you have to explain it to an admin.
Same rule in Franch version of rules.

You quoted a rule about registration , wasn't it clear to you that I was answering rules quoted (Dtox9) ? No ?
You can piss in a violon it does not change the fact that VPNs are not explicitly prohibited for users (or registered users if that better suits to you)
Nor does it change the fact that VPNs are also used for cheating (given the bans I am aware).
Users don't need a second official team to cheat, right now. That was and is the essential part of my answer.

please start reading before writing
but I will help you so you can concentrate on "pissing in a violon" or whatever that is that you do
"Sokker disallows the use of any IP modifying or hiding tool (TOR, VPN) to access his site, and the unjustified use of those tools before registration would lead to the denial of the application and once you have registered it would lead to the closing of the account"
Users don't need a second official team to cheat, right now. That's the point.
the point is that 2nd team cheating while done with other people would be a very gray area while current cheating is obvious when noticed due to patterns / data

You don't even understand what you're quoting ?
Anyway. im done.
Anyway. im done.
It's literally written that:
a. you are forbidden to access the site using a VPN
b. if you use it for registration it will be denied
c. if you use it for playing you will be blocked
Maybe that will be easier for you.

borkos is right. It is clearly written that it is forbidden.
kryminator also confirmed that any use of VPN to access sokker would be a ban but ideally with a warning beforehand.

yep, and as I said on the previous page, they do actually enforce this because a friend from another online game I convinced to come back and play this again literally got banned without warning or notification of reasoning for this.
This should honestly come with a warning to the end user, at least.

It refers to the registration process (oddly abbreviated as “1. Rules”).
Borkos “forgets” to quote the beginning of the sentence that introduces the context.
When applying to a new account you should use a normal Internet connection.
Ultimately, if this rule were to actually apply to existing users, then given the popularity of browsers with built-in VPNs, we can expect massive bans. Great idea !

It literally says that you cannot use VPN/TOR to ACCESS the website and that if you are already registered, your account will be blocked. And there were already cases of users being blocked for it, as Islander mentioned above.

it refers only to registration process because... what?
it's under subparagraph "Internet connection"
in the same main paragraph "1. Rules" (which as you say is only about registration process) such things are mentioned:
"it is necessary if you are going to work abroad for 2 months or if you permanently relocate to another country."
"Your Sokker account can be deleted for several reasons:
- Your team has exceeded the bankruptcy limits for over 14 days.
- Your account has been blocked due to failure to follow the fair-play rules or forum rules as stated in section 2.
- You have not logged in for 50 days (when a country is almost full, this can drop to a minimum of 15 days of inactivity in the lowest leagues of that country. In such cases, Sokker staff will inform you about this in the forum of your country)."
does this concern the "registration process" for you as well?

So let's say its not only related to registration and vpn is explicitly fordbid in any case.. Happy ?
Lets back to my Apple service i am using sometimes. I've been waiting for my ban. Good night.
