Subject: [NT] Friendlies

Their coach doesn't accept my challenge... I've sent him a mail, and he has read it, but hasn't replied nor accepted my invitation...
2009-01-15 11:19:34
Still nothing. Luckily Paraguay didn't have a friendly either, so we can at least play against them.

2009-01-17 23:30 - Towarzyski - week 1

Paraguay - : - Hong Kong

That's late! I'm not sure what time that is in Hong Kong, but I guess the match technically is being played on sunday for you, right?
2009-01-17 11:48:47
Sokker time 23:30 is equivalent to 06:30 HKT. I won't wake up so early to watch this match live in this case.
2009-01-18 11:44:40
Ok, but we won nonetheless! I'm quite happy with it. Paraguay is higher ranked than us, and they had a few very good chances, but all in all I think it was a pretty deserved victory!
What did you think of Hong Kong's defense? :)

I like the friendly matches against Sweden (hard game), Zhōngguó, Malta (we must win this), the Netherlands (one of the best teams in the world), Lëtzebuerg (must be able to win), and Malaysia.

Thanks! :)

We had a match against Sweden last season in the MWC, but we lost that by 4-1.
Last week, we were supposed to play against Zhōngguó. But because they're coach didn't react to neither my invitation nor my mails, I was happy to find Paraguay at the last moment. Thankfully, Zhōngguó now has a new coach, so we'll play against them for sure this time!
Nederland is going to be a "special" match. Probably, they'll use players that have played for the NT in the past, kind of similar to what Eesti did against us last season, and which we defeated with 5-1!
Because of this, Sweden is going to be our strongest opponent.
We should be able to beat Lëtzebuerg, since they're a new country. Allthough, because they're new, I can't really measure how good they are.
Malta and Maylasia are both a bit stronger than us, so it'll be a challenge, and a victory against either would be a very good thing! :)

Today, we'll play a friendly against Sverige. We will be using our B-team, but it's going to be tough, I'm pretty sure their B squad is stronger than ours. Nevertheless, I hope it's going to be an exciting match, despite and maybe partly because a lot of players that haven't played for a long time will play.

By the way, I like the way sharky posts his line-up, let's see if I can do that too.

Squad:
1 Li Geng GK
2 Gao Chung Man DEF
3 Chu Chi Ming DEF
4 Xu Tat Kong DEF
5 Agbo Hong Shing DEF
6 Tai Sai Hung MID
7 Or To Kwan DEF
8 An Sai Ho MID
9 Yuan Kai Ho MID
10 Kan Wing Kin ATT
11 Tsang Chun Bong ATT

Reserves:
12 Chi Yue Hung GK
13 Yuen Wing Lok DEF
14 Akandu Kai Cheuk MID
15 Or Ping Kai DEF
16 Wang Wai Yeung ATT

Set pieces
Free kick: Tai Sai Hung
Penalty kick: Tsang Chun Bong

Conditional orders
Min. Condition / Action
1' red card or no player
Or To Kwan on position 3
1' red card or no player
Or To Kwan on position 4
60' losing by at least 1 goal
Wang Wai Yeung on position 11
70' always
Or Ping Kai on position 5
70' always
Akandu Kai Cheuk on position 8

edit: As you can see, we'll be using regular A-team player Xu Tat Kong. It's hard to find good defenders. I chose him because he didn't have any cards yet, so unless he gets a red card, there isn't really a chance he can get suspended for the match against Spain.

Nice that a player of mine finally played his first match for the National Team.

I expect his last match as well, but that doesn't matter :-)
2009-02-07 12:59:18
Maybe, there'll be more friendlies this season :)
2009-02-07 13:16:27
our B team it's even better than your A team.. so..our B team destroy your B team.
2009-02-07 13:23:06
Sad, but true...
