I am Richard, manager of FC Sharky. (playing in the Eerste Divisie 02). I play sokker since february 2005.

The past couple of seasons, i have supported the dutch NT team. As an Attack scout for 1 season, and for 4 seasons now I have set up communication among matches of the dutch NT.
A preview, click here

This is the first time I compete in an election. I will try to let you understand what I would like to do with the HongKong U21 NT.

- set up a good communication with the Hong Kong NT (U21 NT players wil eventually play in the NT)
- get all of the talented U21 Hong Kong players and support their managers to continue training them
- organise a cup with teams equal to HongKong U21 in the first season. (need the help of other U21 BC's of course)
- every match has its topic free to discuss and I will participate in that discussion

This if for now what I have in mind.

Feel free to ask questions.

Richard.

Thank you for your personal message in my mailbox. Do you mind if I post it here as well? I't gives a clear understanding about your plans and commitment for the U21 team. In my opinion a very clear plan and a big commitment.

I'm really excited about seeing you as a coach for U21.

Why you're not excited to see me coach? :))

Alright, this makes my topic complete about te plans for the u21 NT in Hong Kong.

For a while I had the thoughts and desire to make myself available for a big election to become a NT-coach. And I know Mithos a bit and I know that he is the NT-coach of Hong Kong , so the U21 to me a logical choice .

I also think it is nice and possible to cooperate closely with Mithos to do the U21 and the NT and partner together. We must pay attention to all Hong Kong player (U21 and decent NT player) so we do not let talent get lost. (this is a time-consuming business, but if you started with a solid base, it must be possible to keep all the data updated)

I would like to involve the Hong Kong community more, although I heard and know this is very hard, but is it a key to the success to what I have in mind.

I'm not taking half measures, and this U21 job is not a job I want to do just for fun. I’m aware that this job is more than fun and I will put the U21 as the highest priority and will put all my effort in coaching this squad. I will be fully focused on the U21 and will cooperate with major NT to continue the journey Mithos already started.
The priority is to discover and help managers in how to train their players from Hong Kong. And of course try to put these players at teams where the manager takes care of the players.

I know it is ambitious, but believe that it is possible

congrats!

Two dutch people as NT coach and now the pressure is high after what Mithos is doing with the NT. :-)

Well good luck and actually I don't know what to expect because all the U21 teams are new, have new managers.

Good luck!

Because there is already a topic with my name, i wont be making another one.

So this topic will contain my re-election for the U-21 of Hong Kong.

I hope you will elect me again as the coach of your youngsters and continue the path I think is the best for Hong Kong U-21.

The achievements of the past season, of which I am proud of is most definitely the database of young talentend players and contact with the managers who train them.

Unfortunatly there was not much too cheer for the U-21 of Hong Kong, because all our matches accept for 2 were lost.

This season we will play qualifications for the U-21 WorldChampionships. I don't think we can play some part in that, but in 2 or 3 seasons Hong Kong will be ready with some very talented players. Next seasons its about training and experimenting.

Just as Mithos, I post this message because I am not participating in the election for BC of Hong Kong.

I started with no knowledge of the Hong Kong squad (u-21). I invested a lot of time in receiving updates from managers who are training Hong Kong talented players. As a small country I think we did a good job in some matches against equal countries.
Our qualification with matches against Thailand and Moldova were good, we needed some luck against Moldova. Anyway our ratings are going up, compare our first match, and that from last week, and you will see that Hong Kong is developing very well. There are a couple of good players entering the U-21 squad.

Some players worth mentioning: Jiang Alex, Lee Wing Sun and Maruyama Yee Wah are players for the future of Hong Kong. More players are developing and with the attention of the BC will be in the U-21 in near future.

After two seasons of being the BC of your country I learned some more aspects of this game. And I want to thank you for giving me the oppertunity of being part of this.

I hope Hong Kong will develop more and more to become a country with more active users and some very good players in the NT.

Maybe in the future I will apply once again for BC, but now I will step down to give another manager the chance to be the BC of Hong Kong.

thnx and good luck training Hong Kong players!
