Friendly Game HONG KONG vs Iceland 3-3
Not a bad game but not impressed. Still a lot of silly mistakes and bad passing. Today considering the low form of most of the players we still managed a good draw. 2-0 down 3-2 up ...draw fair result
Still cant figure out why passing is so bad and why our players sometimes lack in ding the most logical things. ex 40min first half....in front through pass to one of our striker, all the way clear to beat the keeper and what he does, he shoots from outside the box!
This week will be the great preparation to make up for the bad 4-0 we had last week against Indonesia.

Low form is really bad for a small team like Hong Kong NT. Worse still those in low form seem to be some of the best among the selection (roughly judged by value)
Yes they are in fact . Most of our best players have been struggling a lot with the form. Thanks god the defenders are compensating a bit but in the mid it is really effecting us a lot.

We lost drastically first round. Hope today things will go a bit better and get a more decent scoreline.

We won against them some time ago. Then they made some changes in tactic and suddenly they start crushing us.
I think maybe our tactic needs some fixing on dealing with the wing-play the Indonesian was using. (Their strikers are almost always free when their wingers have the ball) We were conceding many identical goals created by their wide players. It also showed that wing play when used appropriately can still be useful.

Changed some things to try to contain them better and maybe get a more respectful result.

no words can explain the 7 goals that we conceded. I can accept to lose but cant accept conceding such stupid goals....one more than the other....Zhao horrible performance....4 goal was just incredible..... and then we miss 90% of our 1 vs 1.
this game is becoming more shit then ever. our mid played the balls backwards most of the time, and they passed in front only when our attackers were on offside.

"4 goal was just incredible" sums it up. These amateur mistakes by the keeper shouldn't happen so often in a match. (And the computer rated him an 80, 8 is more like it)
I think the performance of the other players were reasonable. At least they made a number of wonderful long balls that sent our strikers through on goal. The fact was most of time there aren't players in front and in space to pass to, though I think they can dribble the ball a bit before passing.

no more words to describe this shit of a game....goal 4 and goal 6 explains everything. another 2 goals missiles from outside the box. one keeper more idiot than the other and this happened very strangely all in the second round.
Im really fed up of this game and after this season I decided to leave it for good once and for all.

Once again not our day. We deserved at least the draw after we dominated the first half. They scored in the 55min from their first chance whilst we hit twice the post and lost at least 2 other very good chances.
Strikers weren't brilliant today.

True. A draw would be a fair result. If we have a better wide player we could likely get something from the match.
I think occassionally playing with wide player/winger is good, especially when the opponent play with 4 defenders and 2 or 3 central midfielder blocking any through ball from middle.

different day same shit! goals 6,7,8 just icredible. goals 1,2,3 came between the 11th and 12th minute!
Given our keepers have gained a habit of flapping at high balls, maybe we really need to push our defenders are bit forward to the edge of the box.
And I really think 2 central forward is pretty useless in this kind of out-matched games. I would try one winger, one striker so that when a high ball comes in the striker can head it to the winger who is probably in space rather than the other striker who is marked by 2-3 defenders.

no more words.....2-0 down,few silly mistakes like usual from our GK. Than dominated whole match. missed penalty, missed 2 incredible goals from the goal line and at least 6 chances 1 vs 1.
If we did not win this I dont know what we can win!
