Subject: World Cup Qualifications

1. ROUND

Today we will take the RD team. If we want to dream about podium in the group, we must win this match. It`ll be very tough exam for me. What`s more one of our best players has injury and he won`t play against RD.

I and Vers prepared for this match a few suprises... ;) We are sure that HKNT will gain all three points.

2. ROUND

After our good match against Republica Dominicana (1:0 won), we are gonna play with theoretical worse opponent. We will take up U.A.E. Representation which was pausing last week. Our three points allow us to be on third place today. If we want to think about the second, we have to win Saturday`s match. Unfortunately our primary midfielder is injured so the match can be harder for us. We will try to be more offensive team than in the last play. Also I prepared a few changes that you`ll see soon. Support HK and keep your fingers crossed!

It seems we have a fairly easily group, and Cheng Moore finally has found good form after a few seasons. That may help the team got 3rd/4th place I hope

In our group we have for sure many teams in the same/similar level - we, Sweden, Hayastan, Andorra. There are some statistics:

it's hard to say, because we can get both 2nd or even 5th place - Serbia is in higher level, but rest of teams we can defeat with some luck. And when we have no injuries - match with Australia show that unforunately second team is poor

Yes, I think it is the last opportunity to achieve good result in WCQ. We've got a lot of old players who are the base of primary team. What's more I couldn't see anyone who will replace this players in the future.

Srbija is 7th placed NT in the Sokker, we are scarcely 72th. It shows kind of abyss between this teams. Draw would be a big suprise I think. I agree that we can get 2nd or 5th place. We have a big chance to qualify to WC, but it is very far target for now.

I am a bit more 'pessimistic'. I think at best we can beat armenia to get 3rd place as Sweden is also too strong. But of course we can dream.

The current generation of players were a part of the golden age of Hong Kong U21 team which almost qualified for U21 world cup twice (on one of the occasions really really close). They once ranked 40-50.

Now the JS of the handful of HK players including mine are just garbage

We had an incredible chance to win this match, we had the advantage for majority of the match. We lost goals very quickly and we couldn't raise later. I'm very sorry that we didn't gain some points. It was very important match and I thought we cannot win this, because Sweden is too strong for us. It turned out that we have an great opportunity. Unluckily we lost.

I can't explain why we lost. It just seems unfair, maybe it is injustice of match engine. Moore and Tak Him had a lot of 100 per cent situations but only one goal. I'm quite helplessness right now. Look below:
