Hello everybody!
My name is Tsolias and I manage for the last 4 seasons the U21 team of Pilipinas. I discussed with FREDDY_PAITO about the U21 Mini World Cup and the reasons of cancelling it last season and we agreed to try it again, with some modifications, in order to make it more attracive.
The modifications of the new U20 Mini World Cup are:
1. It is an U20 Mini World Cup.
All teams which did not manage to qualify in the U21 World Cup, will have the chance to prepare by this way for the next qualification round.
2. The new U20 Mini World Cup will start on the same date with the U21 World Cup, on the 6th of November (week 3).
You can decide to participate with your U20 team till the 28th of October (Wednesday - week 2). After this, maybee there will be some extension of a few days. I prefer you to declare immediately now your participation, if you are planning to participate, on this forum or by skmail.
3. The mode of the new U20 Mini World Cup will be similar to the oldest association football competition in the world, the english FA Cup.
All games will be knock-out games (cup mode) and the draw of the pairs will be totally random. This can be the chance for even weak teams to win, with some luck, the new U20 Mini World Cup.
That´s the essential part of the tournament. Details will be announced till week 2, or just ask. You can plan for the tournament week 3 till week 7. If you have fun by participating with your future qualification team (your U20 team), I remind you, declare your interest here.

Rules
§ 1. U20 limit
§ 1.1. Maximum allowed age is 20.
§ 1.2. If a team uses at least 1 player in the age of 21, the team looses the game 0-3 (walkover)
§ 1.3. If both teams of a match use at least 1 player in the age of 21, both are disqualified.
§ 2. Arrangement of game
§ 2.1. The invitations have to be send according to the draw, which will be announced latest on Saturdays at 8:00 (in the morning) sokker time.
§ 2.2. Home team sends invititaion with cup mode, till Monday 23:59 sokker time.
§ 2.3. If it not happens till Monday 22:00, the hometeam is disqualified.
(There is only one possibility to avoid this: You have to write on the forum WHEN (date and sokker time) you will send the invitation and send also skmail to the manager of the awayteam o inform him. Your delay will be accepted only if the manager of the awayteam agrees! His answer has to be written on the forum)
§ 2.4. If it is not in cup mode and the result is draw, the guest team wins the game (= qualifies for the next round).
§ 2.5. Awayteam accepts invitation till Wednesday 22:00 sokker time. If not, awayteam is disqualified
(except the manager of the hometeam agrees to wait and writes it on the forum).
§ 3. Knockout mode, Tournament, draw, duration, participants
§ 3.1. The tournaments takes place if there are more than 12 participant teams.
§ 3.2. The organising comitee can ban, replace or recall teams in the tournament. The explanation about such an act must be announced in the forum and has to be in the interest of the Mini World Cup;
e.g.: Only the first 16 teams who decide to participate in the tournament are in the draw - the rest of the teams, which decided later to participate, are out of the tournament on waitinglist
§ 3.3. If there are 12 to 16 teams, the first 8 teams that are drawn, are the hometeams (e.g.: hometeam 1, h2, h3, etc.).
The rest of the teams are the guestteams (e.g.: g1, g2, etc).
E.g.: There are only 12 participating teams: h1:g1, h2:g2, h3:g3, h4:g4, and h5,h6,h7,h8 walkover for next round.
