Has anyone made a tool that can calculate the most profitable expansion of a stadion from a given size and a given amount to do the expansion for?

Build seats along the line. They are the most profitable.

its more complex then that....

the price of 6000 benches and 4000 seats are the same

the payback time is 13 matches for the benches and 16 for the seats so its more economical to build the benches along the line in this case, thus allowing your team to grow faster.
But if amount of seats/benches are different the case is different especially if you dont have both seats and benches along the line. this is cause by the non-linear cost of a seat/bench. adding 2000 seats doesnt cost ½ of adding 4000 seats

but you need to remember that seats attract more fans = more people will buy tickets

that gives nothing about prices and relative gains...just how it would look :)

That payback figure is also assuming that you completely fill both sections.

You are more likely to sell 4,000 seats than you are 6,000 benches.

i would love to have it calculate the costs, too.

nice view though...about all it has going for it.

seat dont attract more fans. As long as you have roughly 25% seats and 75% benches you have max attendance.

what i was talking about was building a stadium you could fill and get max monet from as fast as possible. of course you earn more by having 100% seats but my point is that they cost to much to build if you can fill the stadium with benches also you would earn the money back faster and could expand the stadion again quicker

whats ur attendance?

a great number i was given was.. your fanbase x 15.

tahts how big ur stadium shud be. e.g i have 1k fans atm so i shud have 15,000 places (i have 13700 atm and it sells out against 4 teams i know of in our division)

the next questions is seats/benches.. IMO forget terraces

go for - seats along line, benches behind goals.

income is best for these options. seats behind goals are same income as benches so its not really worth it to pay more

also remember.. as above 6000 benches is cheaper to build than 4000 seats and pays more.. as a result of this you have to pay E1500 extra in maintenance every week.
even when not selling out and on week 15 and 16 when u have no matches probably...

you will also notice that expanding existing places isnt as dear as building from scratch - im building 3k seats from 3k terraces and i dont have the "expand to 3000 places" expense..


you can do things slowly as a result if u dont have all money at once (although project cost is 25k) but i suggest when u have the money expand and enjoy.

stadium = income. very important IMO

I asume i've done wrong with my stadium :(( damn...it will cost me extra to make the seats behind goal in benches....

I would first upgrade benches into seats along line and then eventually would add roof to seats behind the goal.
