I would try to reinstall flash and check on another browser
I use Linux and Firefox.
I could use Chrome and not IE.
I could use Chrome and not IE.
which distro?
check about:plugins in firefox, there should be shockwave flash listed with path to flash shared lib (adobeflashplayer.so or sth like this)
if You use Ubuntu then:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin
and FF restart should help
if it is not ubuntu, then download tarball from flash site and copy libflashplayer.so from its content to the directory pointed by flash section in about:plugins and restart browser

Or wait, I just check 3D match and came to conclusion that You are probably talking about 3D match, right?
Probably 2D match works ok. At least it works good on my FF+linux and 3D does not (I am at work so sounds are disabled but in general it looks like the case You described), but I wasn't aware because I do not start 3d matches.
