The End!
Just days before our 20th (RL) anniversary , the club has decided that the time is right. The club will lose it's management and field amateurs from day 1 of the next season, deliberately aiming for last place and relegation. Since the club is no longer run professionally, the board has decided - logically - that it should not be professional. We are aiming for non-league football.
Since the debut in Season 1 in division 2.07, the club went on to win the top tier on 3 occasions as well as going to the final of the cup no less than 18 times, 6 of which led to the gold medal:
Manager Kongbuur also had a shot as NT-coach for his country back in the day.
Historically, the Camels were known as a side regularly battling to survive in the superleauge - or dominating the second tier to return quickly - and battle again. I think we have the record for promotions to the top tier (and as such: also relegations from it) Eventually, we did establish ourselves and have not been relegated since a single season in 1.04 back in season 41.
The club would like to thank everybody, friend or foe, for 68(!) seasons of fun. And a special thanks to Calle Berglund, who was at the club when we took over and who is still here - and may get a comeback in the side on our way to non-league. Calle is 85 years young and still kickin' it.
