Matthi [del] to All
This saterday we play our first friendly against Singapore, trained by the Italian Oni-chi. Singapore is a new NT, so they don’t have much experience with playing NT games. In their first two games they played against Slovenija (7-0 loss), and England (1-7 loss). Both teams will appear in A-squad. We need to win to get our rank up, and that shouldn’t be a big problem. After our 4-2 win against Sénégal in the World Cup Qualifiers we’re full of confidence.

And we win again, 5-1 this time, it could've been 10-1 or something :( :p

Best player: Krisjianto - even with his pace level, he could run away from the Defenders. Once he dribbled their central defender straight, so his technique training is doing its job.

Other good players: Arismunandar, Roekita - both tackled the ball early on the midfield. If not, Wahyudi was there to back them up.

Worst player: hard choice between Jati (whose passing really was dreadful today) and Suheri (who had to wait till the 90th minute to score from 1 vs 1 situation and scored the other goals from rebounds; also missed a penalty)

explanations after the game.

- Why we played full squad?
With matches against Singapore and Viet nam, we have to take as many points as possible to get a higher rank.

- Why the substitution in the 79th minute?
Suryono is the only decent 18 yo striker. I don't want to lose him when his team would become a bot (you never knows what will happen with a manager). Therefore, I let him play 10 minutes in a friendly game, which gives him 1 match played for NT. So if his team becomes a bot, he wont get lost, but will appear on TL.

Rank before this game: 75th spot - 754.20 points
We should be able to gain some spots, if Ecuador and the other teams just in front of us lose :)

i thought he needed 3 game to be saved if his team becomes a bot ?

As far as I know, 1 is enough :)
I'll ask it on the Mod forum and hopefully Greg will answer :)

He needs to have played 1 game and be capped :)
So he would be safe :)

I just discovered the way they calculate ranking points: it is ELO rating, something every chess player will understand :)
